That hurts. I did a similar thing, fell over at the bottom of the stairs and managed to crack my head open. Four stitches without anaesthetic :(

Also practically cut the top off my little finger once. I got it shut in the door. Luckily I was small enough when I did it that the bone didn't break, but all the skin and flesh on the top joint was hanging off. They fixed it back up, it's still a funny shape though. (N)

interesting to see for most people the worst has been a physical injury :p

at least they heal up i guess, some things feel like they'll never heal

Ouch.

I cracked my head on a stone pillar when i was 4. Not pleasant. Got a couple of stitches on my forehead and a scar to show for it:(.
