Bring back referee(s) and linesmen

What happened to this? It's like taking the ball out of the game. Taking out these people from the game is what drops the realistic level of FIFA's product.

Please re-add these characters back, and give them more life. For instance, if one fakes a foul or commits a foul (that the judge didn't really see), then the ref would do sort-of a hand signal to make sure the game is continuing.

I can't understand why EA is going backwards when they should be going forward!

Well a ref does appear out of nowhere when a foul cutscene begins.......but yeah.......i miss the in game ref too. Maybe they took the ref out coz some people confused him for a player or somehting. The best was in WC 2002....the ball could actually hit the ref & bounce off That was really cool & hehe helpfull too

I don't understand why they would take things out instead of adding things into the game. Same deal with Sub animations, why would you get rid of that? Everyone liked those things... makes no sense

That's right, I remember trying to pass to the ref, but only when the uniforms were alike. On the other hand, I also remember when the ball would hit the ref, that was pretty cool...
EA should bring it back!

erm.....then how did they do it before on lamer comps??? I dont think thats a valid reason man

EA can only add & delete features every year.

It's time for them to revise their work in this year's FIFA 2006 & for the next FIFA series.

and while your at it, give the ref a WHISTLE!!

But knowing EA, it still probably won't be in FIFA 2050....
