Two pages about Ronaldo. Cmon Fagegast, admit it you are probably his biggest fan.
Ronaldo scored 2 goals against Arsenal, the second was indeed a tap in, an easy goal due to the merit of being in the right position to finalize the play (Nistelrooij trademark goal). Even if it was only an easy goal, it was enough to help United achieve what Chelsea and Robben couldn´t do, scoring and winning in Highbury.
I remember the Portugal vs Holland pretty well and altough Figo´s performance was pretty good (who doesn´t remember him ridicularizing Reiziger), Ronaldo´s performance was more effective and objective since he did the same to Gio and scored the opener.
Yes, Ronaldo did cry because he really wanted to win the Ec at his own country. At the tender age of 19, it´s pretty devastating for a young player to work so hard for an objective and fail in the finish line with his team, so the reaction was only natural. I think that Robben would prolly have the same reaction, but i guess we will never know because im extremely skeptical that Robben will ever accomplish that.
Instead of diverting attentions to spelling mistakes, we could just focus on facts and numbers. Since i don´t know what team you specifically support, let´s just focus on the national team performance. Ronaldo´s numbers are 5 goals, 6 assists. Robben hasn´t played the same ammount of games due injury (i´ll give you that) and coach criteria, but he has only 1 goal (against mighty Andorra) and one assist . Since the concept of class is relative, we can just judge the influence on the team and their production by the numbers.
Anyways, im done with this entertaining debate and i´ll let you focus on your superior and mature quest of spamming the Manchester United thread with male (Glazer) pics. Im kinda worried with your obsessive behaviour and endless motivation to do so, perhaps you wanna make a confession to us and come out of the closet. Thank god that you are not in Afghanistan anymore, i think they don´t have any symphaty towards homosexual ppl there.

Still need Chelsea to slip up. They got 3 points from Goodison Park, which could have been a potential banana skin. Not enough games to go IMO.

Ruud: I'll be ready for Milan

Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy is targeting a comeback in the Champions League clash with AC Milan as he continues his recovery from an Achilles injury.

The superstar has been undergoing rehabilitation in his native Holland and is convinced he will be ready for action when the Italian giants come to Old Trafford next Wednesday.
He told the Mail On Sunday: "I have made incredible progress and I feel as if I am ahead of schedule.

"I feel I no longer need to be in Holland. I want to be back with the boys and join them in a match as soon as possible.

"That could well be in the Champions League against Milan.

"I have been away from United, now I am back and hungry to play again. I am grateful that the club let me go to Holland, I had complete trust in my physio."

Ronaldo close to new deal

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he is close to agreeing a new contract at Old Trafford - just 18 months after joining the club.

The 20-year-old's performances have consistently improved this season and the Portugal international, who signed a five-year-deal in August 2003, is turning into one of United's main attacking threats.

"The Manchester United board have already made an offer to renew but I'm trying not to think about it a lot," he told the News of the World.

"I only want to concentrate on my performances on the pitch.

"My agent Jorge Mendes has spoken with their people and it will be resolved shortly. I believe we will reach a good agreement for both sides."

However, Ronaldo refused to commit his long-term future to the club, adding: "Nobody knows what will come tomorrow. I like being here, but who knows.

"There aren't many bigger and better clubs than this one. It's my ambition to be at a big club. I'm happy but nobody knows the future."
