Argentino admite ter "dopado" o Brasil na Copa-90


Quase 15 anos depois, a eliminação da Seleção Brasileira na Copa do Mundo de 1990 ainda causa polêmica. Em entrevista à revista Ventitres, divulgada nesta semana, o ex-técnico da Argentina Carlos Billardo admitiu que foram misturados tranqüilizantes na água dada aos brasileiros.

Opine: que você achou da atitude dos argentinos?
O Brasil, dirigido por Sebastião Lazzaroni, perdeu para os argentinos por 1 a 0, gol de Cannigia, e foi eliminado nas oitavas-de-final da competição. A Argentina chegou ao vice-campeonato.

"Não posso dizer que não aconteceu", disse Billardo, que é médico.

Nesta quarta-feira, o presidente da CBF reagiu com indignação à informação que os brasileiros teriam sido prejudicados em 1990.

"Se aconteceu é algo de profundo ridículo. Espero que não tenha acontecido pelo bem do futebol", disse o dirigente.

Durante a partida de 1990, em uma jogada em que Diego Maradona foi atingido, o massagista Miguel Di Lorenzo deu uma garrafa de água para o lateral-esquerdo Branco beber. Após tomar o líquido, o brasileiro reclamou que havia ficado tonto.

"Eu dizia para ele tomar e ele bebeu tudo. Depois, ficou tonto e mal conseguia chutar a bola", contou Maradona, durante uma entrevista a um canal de TV argentino, em dezembro.

Segundo o ex-jogador, quase todos os brasileiros pediram água para os argentinos durante a partida e receberam a garrafa suspeita.

After Branco drank some water he complained of being dizzy, maradona then said that he could harldy kick the ball after drinking the water.


FIFA should definately investigate this and PUNISH SOMEONE for this

Diego was joking about this the other day on an interview, he told the story like this: "Argentina had several water bottles of two different colors, whenever the players wen't to drink water cause someone was being treated on the field, the Brazilians were given the tainted water bottles, they had them in two different colors so they could be distinguished."

its in the past, I hope no one does it again.

A new scandal has surfaced in the world of football in general and the argentinian national team in particular

Football fans possibly remember the images of Carlos Bilardo, then Sevilla's manager, visibly upset when his team's trainer aided a rival player. It didnt look any good, but the revelation made public now, does not stand far behind.

The manager has admitted in an interview to an argentinian local magazine "Veintitrés" that he ordered to the doping of Brazilian players during a match in 1990 between Argentina and Brazil when he was Argentina's national team manager. The match ended with 1-0 win for Argentina thanks to a Cannigia goal. Bilardo has admitted that he ordered trainer Miguel di Lorenzo to put tranquilizers in a water bottle that he gave the brazilian players.

The trainer took advantage when he came out to assist Maradona and he then gave the water to the players amongst them, defender Branco. Oddly enough, this player admitted at the time that shortly after drinking the water he started feeling bad. Recently, Maradona also admitted that some rival players drank some sort of fluid that contained drugs.

i know its not but trust me why would i have a argument with south american friends? its not call for. but what u said is really un call for. i guess if u think i deserve it, o well but i didn't mean to diss argentinos. just shocked as hell
