These are the top 20 footballing nations in Europe right now.

These rankings are used to determine how many teams from each country participate in CL and UEFA Cup competitions.

PAOK's performance killed the Greek score we fell from 6th to 8th this year. Lets hope Olympiakos and Panathinaikos pull through.

Does anyone have the up to date UEFA Coeffeciants list, that shows CL/CLQ/UC/UCQ/Intertoto clubs?

You get an equal amoint of points for winning CL and UEFA games, which simply doesn't make sense. But since Holland has 4 teams in the UEFA Cup and 1 in the CL, care

The position of Portugal in this ranking is mostly because of the great campaigns of Porto in the UEFA competitions in the last years, thanks to that in the next year we'll have 2 teams in the group stage of the CL and other in the 3rd qualifying round!

this is a CLUBS ranking and only CLUB RESULTS counts. the NT results don't have nothing to do with this ranking

um..........maybe bcuz italy IS better than czech republic......but i agree that czech rep. should be higher in the ranking

It's club based.... never mind the trolls

this ranking is made on the clubs results. the clubs earn points to their countries in the uefa ranking and it gives the nº of spots in the uefa competitions.

We were 15th last year, which gave us a extra place for Champions League qualification. But now we lost it again.

so is this the final ranking for next years compititions, or will uefa take into account partizan winning the uefa cup?

the results of this season will only take effect two seasons after. For next year counts last season ranking.
