Team Creation Option

We need TEAM CREATION options!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look EA just give us the ability to create our own teams. Include the ability to add a country’s flag on any soccer shirt we create. So, if we are creating Peru (for example) and you guys didn’t buy the license, we can still create this team and add the flag to the upper right side of the shirt and make it look pretty authentic (you need to also include plenty of jersey designs/patterns/colors).

Example: I have this game called Phantom-Crash; in it I build a Mech-Warrior and was able to add Peru’s flag on the robot itself. So, you guys can do the same, it is easy and it would save you a lot of problems. Include every flag from every FIFA nation and allow us to create our own national teams or clubs.


P.S.: include tons of player creation option (hair styles etc). Fifa 05 create a player lacks options on hairstyles (sound funny but it makes a difference). FIFA 2002 gave us more options on player editing (remember how many colors it included just for shoes?).

yes, it's a sad thing that they took this option out of the game, they brought back create a player this year maybe they will step it up and add create a team next year.

Ya i'm disappointed that EA decided to take that out. But at least they included player creation like Rochester Rhino said, and that's a start. In PES, you can modify a team. Even if the jerseys look hideous, at least you can name the team, give it initials (that appear on the scoreboard), make your own flag, and color the jerseys to resemble your team. FIFA should include this NOT as a team modifier, but as a team creator. I need a team to put all my created players on. Right now I have to put them all on some low level Korean team that I'll never play as

They have a create a team thing in TCH 05 they should convert it into fifa !

If EA did this (leave out previously included material that gamers actually love) with other titles such as Madden, NBA Live etc, there would be such a tremendous uproar!!! So maybe we don’t yell loud enough. What else can we do besides voice our opinion on these forums.

Does anyone have an actual address for EA? Not an e-mail address either, that is too easy to delete and ignore. I would be willing to write a letter of complaint (the type politicians hate). Maybe then they’ll listen.

the ability to do anything we missed creating teams since 2003

And like in FIFA 2002, we should be able to edit existing team’s uniforms; at least those without licenses... yes I am talking about Argentina. The crime committed with Argentina’s Home jersey should be penalized by Donald Trump’s favorite line “you’re fired!”
Simply ridiculous!!!!

Well heres an Idea ive been thinking of, the Create-a-Club feature.

- Just like in Madden 2005 you choose your primary and secondary colors.

- Choose your logo in which EA should make many or have the fans create them for EA, like a contest, the best ten make it in.

- You choose the name of your club, either pre-programmed names or your own.

- You choose which league you want to play in.

- You choose the city you play for in that country

- Choose abreviation (sp?) for the score board deal

- Then choose 3 or 4 diffrent style flags or able to create your own plag with your own sayings.

- Choose your home stadium or like madden you create your own.

- Then you make you home and away kits and a 3rd kit.

All in all just take the madden formula for there create-a-team feature and just change a few things. Now that would be awesome.

yeah, i really hope that Create a Team gets put into the next one... even FIFA 97 had that option if my memory serves me right...

yeah it would be cool....I would name all my players after legends like Pele, Maradona, Platini, ....and some of my favs; Hugo Sanchez, Nacho Ambriz,Jorge Campos ....i would also make my self but Nacho would have the same last name as me

....i wish you could also put in your own ratings for the players so then would could start off in higher leagues depending on what ratings you gave your team....i would creat my own team and play them in Mexico OR Spain

...also my uniforms would be white with a golden trim (similar to madrid with a black trim)...i would also creat my away uniform like Mexico and my 3rd kit like Argentinas

You see (just read quote) that is exactly what I mean. The ability to create your own team and allow yourself to be creative is exactly what we want!!!! For the last 3 years EA has ignored our requests. Over and over again we’ve asked, yet EA has ignored all of us!!!

Still we keep buying the game (I’m not buying next one unless this option is included) and EA continues to make millions from gamers that are almost fearful of saying “that is it, no more until….”

Look, the truth is that the majority of gamers (just a theory) are casual gamers. I don’t mean they don’t play day and night, I mean most gamers are not informed or read forums. In other words, they accept what ever is thrown at them or are simply satisfied with having a game that concentrates on European leagues. A lot of these gamers buy FIFA games from time to time, not 7 or 8 years in a row; hence they don’t know any better. They don’t really compare the game with previous 7 renditions.
Still, EA should please their loyal customers, those buying the game year after year.

its total bullsh*t why they took it out in the first place. It was one of the best bits of the game. They gave no explaination. I cant understand what goes through EA`s f***n heads

maybe it saves them time but then atleast they shud put the create a ..... option of the older v. and just upgrade it a bit.

I feel they've stopped cuz if they make it again people will keep asking for more which will be impossible due to lack of time. They could do this earlier cuz in the olden times the create a .... itself made people love the game so they never asked for anything more

i agree with everything everyone is saying. what is so hard about at least keeping last year's in game editor? FIFA 2002 had a great editor, so why did they remove it?

come to think of it, FIFA 2002 was, essentially, quite good, something to be built on. and so they almost start from scratch in 2003.

here's what i think the in game editor should have:

1) create/ edit player. 2005 was too complex, it took too long. I just want a good range of faces etc.

2) create/edit teams. FIFA 2002 was really good here, it just needs to be a small improvement on that.

3) create/edit tournaments/leagues.
This needs MASSIVE improvement. 2005 was awful- there were not enough options. I want to be able to create anything- leagues for career mode (with accurate fixtures), complex tournaments, and cups with heaps of teams.


if I got all this, i might consider buying it (if it got very good reviews)

That's just it; they don’t give any explanations because they don’t have to. They don’t have to because people keep buying the game regardless of what bulls&%@ they throw at us. They have no real competition (with the exception of W11) because of their ability to buy licenses; hence they don’t fear the possibility of lower sales that can come from going head to head against other competitors.
The only way to get EA’s attention is to stop buying the game. And, hope that Konami and company gives EA a run for their money!

That is what I understand the least. Why they actually took out stuff people actually loved. All of us had a blast creating teams and players that resembled relatives (LOL). I created a Peruvian National team that had every cousin, uncle and even my father-in-law as the goalie (just so that I could score on the sucka!!! Just kidding he is cool).

Anyway, we had the ability to get creative with the game, unlike now.

What ever happened to the 2002 version team maker?
