how can i make my strikers score.

They don't score any goals. it's pathetic. I have very good strikers. Luis Fabiano, Postiga, Derlei, Benni McCArthy and Gervasio Braga...all with 15+ in finishing.

Out of all those players my leading scorer is Fabiano with 10 in all competitions.

Diego has 24 goals iin 30 games, and he has 11 for finishing. this is getting very annoying. I don't even have Diego running into the striker postion.(i'm not using a diablo tactic. FM is starting to piss me off. I have like 5 break aways a game, but they never ****in score.

please help me.

i use these tactics:

4-1-1-3-1
and
4-1-2-1-2

give me a good training schedule, a good tactic, anything please.

the W-M and 4-3-3 with arrows going either left or right.

If you're still not sure, I can send you these tactics; work wonder with Leeds United which is saying something.

thabks Hyun, but my tactics work fine. I'm in first in the Potuguese league, i beat Chelsea in the QF in CL and i won the Euro and Portuguese Supercup and the intercontinental cup. Everything is fone, but my strikers. they have like 7-8 shots a game. none go in.

oh I was referring to your lack of goal problem with the tactics I'm using. they work fantastically; I think you misunderstood my recommendation as a solution for only standings.

I feel this guys pain look at this match.... 45 shots 20 on target 25 off target and only 1 FUC*ING GOAL What the hell i should have had like 10 goals i totally owned Lazio, they only had 1 shot and that was off target too. Also my sub Rui Costa scored it... it took a sub to finally score this is crap i hope they fix this.

I have this problem with Newcastle. Bellamy and Kluivert can't hit a barn door but Shearer scores for fun, he's on 25 and it's only Christmas

yea.. had this repeatedly... so much so, that iv stopped playin the game....

yesterday i changed my tactic completely, and yes my strikers have scored goals. Fabiano-3 goals in 2 games
Postiga-2 goals in 4 games
Benni-3 goals in 2 games
Hugo Almeida-1 goal in 1 game.

Zidane, there's one thing wrong with that screenie! it shoulda been lazio had 1 attempt on goal and scored. Thats the ****ing worst. raping a team and drawing in the end

I had the same problem with Hull City, they kept finishing but rarely scored, and as always I got really pissed off.
Finally, I just added one or two more practice sessions with shooting, it helped my team but I don't know if helps yours.

Play with one striker upfront and put him on a target man role. Make you sure you have a flooded midfield and it will work. Shevchenko has played 7 matches or so and scored nearly 15 goals for me.

Get Alberto Gilardino on free (he's available on the 3rd season i think) and all you striking problems will be sorted!

Here are a few suggestions:

1) watch the game on "pitch" mode. Watch some of the game through highlights. You'll see what problems the team is facing. After a shot, is there someone close by for a follow-up shot?

If a player is isolated all the time, he might be forced to take a shot from a bad angle all the time because no one is there to help him. A balanced working formation would help.

2) change players' movement by tweaking their individual settings. Are you playing big man small man? Who's the target man? striker? attacking midfielder. Have concrete roles for each person.

you have a good point there garlei, but i seem to have fixed my prob thanks anyway.

what i did was copy the exact formation i had on CM 4 and Cm 03.04 and it works wonders.

When I wasnt scoring this is what happened to me: For some reason Solskjaer can play even though hes still injured for 3 months and his condition is 20%. Anyway, I decided to play him (hes got 20 finishing) with van nistelrooy (hes got 19) but for one half only. And how many does he score? 3! He was injured and still scored a hat-trick! Van Nistelrooy played the whole match and didn't score any.

And could anyone explain to me why Solksjaer was still allowed to play when hes still injured for at least another three months?

yea i think is a bug sometimes for me the 'inj' red icon i replaced by a 'wnt' or 'unh' or sumthign.

pirlo was out for like 6 months and he was complaining that he doesnt get enuff competitve matches to play!

so i sold him LOL.

yeha, that thing with players believing they should play more while they are or were injured is just ****e.

yea he's the 1st palyer to complain tho. shevchenko musta be injured for 1/2 of my 1st and 1/2 of my 2nd season in charge. he never moaned, but then he rarely complains about anything.

in my 3rd season he won the league for me. he scored like 39 goals in 32 games. 26 in series i think. he went on a run of like 15 goals in 5 games or something.

3,3,4,3,2,2,0,2,2 that was his goalscoring sequence.

All my problems were solved by a little bloke called Robinho. Also, Fredheim Holm and Mokoena score goals from the midfield for fun, Holm had 29 from AM my first season up as West Ham, kept me up too...
