At last! Konami confirms on-line

Ok, I've never owned an XBOX and this is my question.

I know microsoft makes it, and there are no PAL and NTSC versions for the PC games, they're all the same. Are there different game versions on the XBOX for people in the U.S. and people in Europe or could I just buy PES4 in europe and play it on my U.S. console?

I don't know if there is a way to play this game at an American Xbox, but I think you should wait for the American version

Many Xbox Live games are region free. Maybe that will also be the case with PES4. I reccomend waiting for the game to be released in europe, and then search around some forums, to see if it's region free or not.

Meaning that the LIVE part is region free. That means same servers for everybody. Which means europeans can play americans, asians, etc.

No, I mean that many Xbox Live games REALLY are region free, which means, they can be played on any xbox (if you have a compatible TV, of course).

I am not a FIFA game player anymore,but do any of you read the forums n when EA went online n all the kids were freezing the games,disconnecting when losing,all kinds of dumb stuff.
I wonder how Microsoft will handle this.
Games like CoD,BFv,etc. theres Punkbuster which 'weeds' out the cheaters more or less... i would consider buying an x box even though it would only be used for we8 and watch movies on.
No online for pc? Um wtf? What they're smokin is waaaay better then me.Plz share some Konami.
Damn pc is the king of online gaming - why start with a dang console?
What makes them think that Konami/Microsoft can do so well with a console vs. pc? Damn run servers through Gamespy or something...they'd get more overall people playing it online over x box live.
Sure soccer isn't as popular as maybe CoD, EQ,BfV HL,Q3,CS,UT etc. when it comes to online gaming, but i think they'd do better trying the pc way before the x box way.

Well probably Microsoft is really happy now cause they know their X-box sales might increase slightly because of WE/PES fans wanting to play online. I mean there are already people wanting to get an Xbox for PES3 online. Who wouldn't want to play WE/PES online ? A dream come true especially to play the new age WE series.

AS for players quiting games, I think Konami should introduce the non cheating mode when they had in PES3/WE7 msater league. So whenever the opponent quits he will automatically lose 3-0 or whatever the scoreline Konami wants. I always turned this mode on when playing the master league in WE7IJ. But it seems they removed it in WE8.

it wont happen on xbox live. its a much better service than PS2 online

Those Mofo's at Microsoft probably paid Konami a lot of $$$$$ to be the first with online play.... The marketing giant knows what they are doing to sell even more Xboxes... It's mentioned earlier but for the pc it is a hell of a lot easier to start online gaming.... I am sure there is a bigger market for PES online on the pc than on the Xbox....

FIFA has been a bag of horse $hit period though so it was no surprise it has always had problems with it's online facility. I've played some of the Madden titles online and never had any problems with those though. I think M$ have a much greater ability to perfect online gaming than the EA FIFA team who can't even bring out a title better than it's FIFA 98 version. I mean, freak me, all you have to do is keep the same gameplay and improve the graphics and increase the number of features but the dumbasses can't even get that right! I'm surprised they even bothered with online gaming other than to get more money out of their fans.

Online gaming with PES4 will be awesome I'm sure.

Well at least it's happening, or about to happen online for the masses which is a great thing for us. We want this implemented into the game.
If it doesn't happen to go online for pc until say....next release, fine by me, i will buy an x box just to have a chance to play vs. all you people from around the world, and get to play any of you people,because i want to see yer skills vs. my skillz lol.( no lie i suck im a 3* player fer life)
Valid points by all you guys responding to what i said on the pc vs console online thing. I have lurked these forums for awhile now, and must say a great bunch of people.. no matter where you live.
Thanks again for taking the time to make we7i/pes3 a touch better than it already is by adding things to enhance the enjoyment. No lie - i have actually 'converted?' 3 RL friends who never even had an interest in soccer to begin with.... until they watched me play pes.
We have our little 'bonding time' n sit around the big screen n play our ML. Such Fun.
