Career Mode 2005 Thread

a little unrelated, but there's one more thing i hope they fix in career mode. the money. i played with Lazio and started with 13m, then i won serie a and coppa italia and got like 15m. then i won the CL and only got 2-3m more surely winning trebles increases the club's finances

i doubt it is true, i am pretty sure they will let you start with whichever team you like

yea they probably will let u start with any team u like. i dont wanna start with a team like messina or perugia

You guys really aren't paying any attention at all, are you? It's been clearly stated and shown in videos that you have to start with a lower side.

Listen, THAT IS EXACLTY WHAT THEY TOLD US LAST YEAR AND GUESS WHAT, IT WASN'T TRUE... so im sure you can understand people's disbeleif this year.

I don't think the screens or movies are conclusive to either argument. The spanish movie for example was comentated by an EA representative (can't neccesarily trust them). And the screen shots we have seen are very open to speculation. I guess we won't find out until the game ships. There's what EA says, and then there's what EA does. October 12 we will defenetly know the answer

So far most of the stuff points that you'll have to start with a little club then you can go into a bigger. And so far nothing pointed it could be otherwise, start with a big team already.

Yer i would like the option to do both. Play with chelsea, or play with **** team and get them up to a better league, they would both be fun to do .

anyone worried about carrer mode theres no need there is a tournament mode which u can play the season on a league from any team

A little off topic, but isn't this the City of Manchester Stadium. I wonder if it is in the game?

erm.. thats NOT a big relief, cuz the screen says tournament mode; that means i can play a single tournament, thats not a season.... i would like to play an entire season i.e. local league + cl + local cup (if the team i'm using has qualified for those things)

Yeah, that would be nice, wouldn't it?

I wonder if we would be able to play with 2 human users in the same career file. I know it's a little weird but a friend had asked me that.

Man just what I thought right now ! That would be really great. I tried it with FIFA04 with a friend, but no chance. Maybe FIFA 2005 will feature it ? Dunno.

This is yet another feature that has been egregiously left out of FIFA, yet exists in many other EA games. Let me tell you, there is nothing better than playing out a career mode with several of your friends, all vying for trophies against each other over an extended number of seasons. Doubt it will happen for FIFA 2005.

Hopefully other teams will make transfers but big players wont go to small teams because that would be ****. Also, EA should think about the age of players and make them retire when they come to a certain age.

I did hear them say in A Producer diary that players would retire and that new players would come up.

With random names or from real youth squads?

can sum one PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tell me about the transfer system is it GUD enough will other teams bid for other players will speculation rise in the press
