Creation Centre 2005 Thread

Ohhhh...... they change the info in the english site but they forgot to update the spanish one http://es.easports.com/games/fifa2005/home.jsp so here is the prove of what we are talking about..... yes they mention a new creation zone where yo can edit stadiums, kits, playes, tournaments.......

There is a creation centre. You can create new players but this year cannot edit players. That's what I've heard from EA.

But of course you will be able to transfer players, put them in a position etc. You will be able to set kick takers and captains and all that other stuff.

Again, as I said before, if you're really unhappy with how a player is represented you can create them from scratch and just replace them.

Indeed, but...... Is there a way to remove the players from a team? Or like replace a player with one you create?

You are able too choose captain.
Can you change it during the match or you MUST choose the captain before the match?
Can you set the keepers as kick takers?

Well it's better than nothing but always keep in mind that an " ingame creation center " will always be very limited.
Remember in Fifa 2002 , after you have edited about 600 players you could not do anything more .
So to me, the ingame CC is just a little toy. The real deal will be an external editor like the ones from Chau or Hercules
Nothing to get excited for what we know now !!!

I think this means to just edit the face of a player you have already created earlier, not a default player.

I am sure they have listened to the fans and saved themselves some trouble, with the in-game CC, players no longer have to worry about mistakes EA have made in research because we can fix it ourselves, which also saves ea some time I guess.

I don't see anything of a creating your own team option in the new screens/videos.

Does anyone know any more on this? surely if you can make the player anyway they must allow you to edit the players in the game???. There's no way i'm gonna put up with players having the wrong skin colour and the stats being totally inaccurate

This better be in the game!!

I'd rather there be an out of game creator than in game. Its much easier to organize, and it allows you to use websites to get info.

the demo has the Create a Player option (but its not available of course) so I think that the full editor (it there is one- create teams, etc) its going to be outside the game (:/)

wanted to ask you guys, if you want the team creation option back in FIFA ? I think it was a great feature in the FIFA series, but wasn't included in FIFA 2004.
Every year, I created few custom teams (custom team name/kits/players) and played with them in tournaments/leagues with other friends. This feature was the only reason I bought the FIFA series. Last year it wasn't included and that sucked. It seems that it's not included in FIFA 2005, too. Creating players and creating tournaments are the only options available.
As AndrewC said in his Preview-Thread, there is going to be a Creation Centre for the PC version by Chau Le again. I hope he will finally add the team creating feature to the great game. I loved that feature.

So what do you guys think ?

Ya, an out-of-game creation centre is much better than the in-game stuff they always used to make. This is better provided it comes out relatively soon.

ea guys are mad to remove such a great feaure.

this means that u can only edit the faces u hav created.

I think the Create-a-Player in FIFA 2005 is a great idea...and it will be cool that i will be able to make a player who looks like me!!

Would have been great to be able to edit default players as you see some players don't look the same throught the year, they will change something about themselves some of the time. It would have been great to be able to edit them, but seeing we can't I think we will just have to enjoy CC's limitations this year. Creating a Player will be good as we can create ourselves, friends and as a few people said, even real players if we don't like how they are presented.

CC is good but without EA DNA, players editing and create a team its incomplete.
