 Then, can't you edit stuff like the numbers or the team where they play at least?

You can change the team that' they're at. If there's a player you really want to edit then you can always create a new player. Star players with proper faces and that will be accurately represented and shouldn't need editing.

The Arsenal kit will be fixed. Kits are one of the last things updated in the game. EA won't make a mistake with a team like Arsenal.

Well I won't say I told you so, but I knew we wouldn't be able to edit players. That is just ridiculous. And personally I don't see why. What is the problem? There is not another EA game that you cannot edit players. And I'm talking about attributes and gear here, not faces, although that would be cool. We can't even assign a new player we get in career mode a new number! Wow that's a really tight manager mode, when you can't even do something as simple as assign your captain or assign your players numbers. That is just shoddy in my opinion. Once again FIFA will rate far behind all other EA titles in customisable features.

wow is it just me but the staff you can hire looks like complete fruitcakes and has zero knowledge about football

Very interesting, it's evidently that they're still working on the rosters and such, notice the players missing and numbers and they got to update some kits like Boca Jrs. and Galatasaray. Guglienminpietro uses 23 no 20 and they still didn't get back Real Madrid's number font back.

The coaching staff looks very unproffesional but I guess they improve as your prestige increases you can hire a better staff. It doesnt seem like it would be hard to find a more skilled staff than the one displayed in the screen shots.

It says that you increase your ratings in those nine different areas by assigning them points which you earn throughout your career. It costs 100 points to improve any area by one marker. These are cumulative over your career. You don't actually hire coaches.

while looking at the screenshots, i noticed that its says you have to work your way to become a 5 star manager(manage a 5 star team). So you do have to start with a cruddy team and work your way up. I wonder how long it takes to get job offerings. i hope it doesn't take 10 years to get to manage Arsenal. Then it would be like having a 5 year career because that is the team i would want to start with.:(

Maybe it's like in FIFA 2004, then in like 3 seasons you can reach 4 stars rating and maybe you don't need to be 5 stars to manage a 5 stars club since like when you start you can manage a 1.5 stars rated club.

Honestly, even with my favorite team i think it would become boring to be with the same team 15 seasons. I forgot to comment before, but i think it's nice how they order the substitutes in the list by their position. keeper, defender(s), midfielder(s) and then forward(s), i hope there's the need to have a keeper in the bench this time. :kader:
