FIFA 2005 Multimedia Thread

The option to edit players, is not inside the team managment. If i recall correctly it was inside the creation thing, when you create a player you can change the face of an actual player, then the same with attributes, team information, etc,which if i recall correctly too was seen in the spanish video. Anyway they what stadiums will be new, in the spanish video when it says stadiums and they shots of different stadiums, there seems to be one that resembles River Plate's stadium, maybe it's another.

First off, don't roll your eyes at me bro. Second, what does editing existing players have to do with creating players. I have never seen an EA game where you go into create-a-player to edit existing players. I have seen the create-a-player mode in several videos, I have yet to see in a video, anyone editing an existing player. Why are you rolling your eyes at me? I'm just stating what I have seen.

Sorry for the rolling eyes. Yes it sounds strange entering the creation a player to edit an already existing one, but i think it works like that, but serious there's an option that says "edit an actual face" inside the player face menu. If the editing is not like this then there's something that wasn't shown yet.

That's cool. Thanks for the apology. Where do I find the Spanish Campus video? I think I found it in this thread, but I tried to download it from the link and it didn't work. Is there somewhere else to get it?

Probably when you enter in "Edit an actual face" you can go editing the face of an actual player who's already in the game, then you can go and edit the other stuff, such as accessories, attributes, team info, etc. If it's not like that, then i don't know where's the editing option. And i don't know where you can get the video, since i got it from the links that were given in here.

hmm... I kind of like the two screens above, they seem better than FIFA and EURO 2004...
But the faces, I think with the editor in game,if possible, you can just change original faces, not specific ones

I saw it. It was cool. Although my Spanish is limited so I wasn't sure what he was saying. But I'm still not sure about editing players, all he did was create one and it looked like there were templates to start with. Did he say something about "editing an actual face?"

I mean the option in the video appears "Editar una cara actual". However he didn't say anything about it or what it does, also in My FIFA 2005, there's an option called "Created players", which he didn't mention about, he only said the created players are saved there.

I speak to Matt Holme (who now works at EA) occasionally and he told me that this was in semi-pro mode.

This is played on semi-pro, which is aimed at beginners. The guy playing in this movie seemed to be beyond that level so did it with ease. He should be playing on professional. I've been told that in professional and world class it isn't easy to score off crosses at all.

So basically, you have to remember that this is semi-pro. In comparison you can say it's that same as 2 star level in PES. If we saw a movie of PES in two star level we'd all be mentioning similar problems because anything below 3 star in PES is very easy. I would like to see a professional or world class match in FIFA 2005.

You can edit players with a specific face too. I saw in the Spanish video they where editing Beckhams head.

anybody found any new movies of the game this is turning to be one awesome game i just hope we can do the moves actually by what they have shown in the videos so far

ME TOO!!! Last year they showed like people nut meging the defenders and I NEVER could do that in the game. I have seen the first touch tool in action however in Gameplay movies and it looks really hott so hopefully this year it will live up to the expectations that I have for it...

I saw the Spanish video and never saw anyone editing Beckham. Did anyone else see this?

Yeah i remember they changed his ears and made them stick out like car doors, and i think they might have made his head really wide too. I'm not sure if they were editing it somewhere in the game or if they were making faces for the game and just joking around. I HOPE we can edit faces already in the game!!

In the spanish video the guy said when you create a player, you choose a face where you can start to do all the changes you want with it. I still think the option there "Edit an actual face" has to do something with the edition of the players that are already in game. If not then there's something else.

From what I understand you can't edit current players in FIFA 2005.

I don't really see the need to anyway because I would think that they are all pretty accurate in terms of stats and appearance. EA have put extra effort in this year to improve on that area. As long as you can add players that's all that I ask.

Then, can't you edit stuff like the numbers or the team where they play at least?
