I reckon the transfer market and server delays will drive me to follow Windsor out of the door... I've got no idea where any of the players ended up as my player monitoring seems to think the latest bids were at around 300k when at one point it was showing much higher

Might be a bit quick off the mark but I think I got him. 10 minutes of mad bidding and refreshing (there are ways to be sure Ash) and Tommy eventually signed on my offer of 780 000 GBP. A bit more than I wanted to pay ideally, but with Wilburn Hoole leaving for at least 600k too it won't have too much of an impact on other potential signings...

Transfer market is infuriating, every 5th search is the 'correct one' and impossible to tell what's happening.

Despite being distracted by making large-puss pay full price for his keeper, i managed to secure my main target randy even if the price was a bit crazy - off to speed training for him now!

Yeah I couldn't tell what was going and coupled with an MSN convo I was having with someone, I missed it all. But still, glad to be playing this fine game and there are plenty more players to still come on the market.

Was a little bit skeptical about this one, but if I'm going to sign another decent striker I'm going to have to cut corners a bit at the back. 748 925 GBP fee, which should leave me with enough to get the striker once the money from Hoole's transfer comes in.

However, the guy is definitely still improving as he gained a ball for Ball Control this morning

This is my Windsor player... got decent speed and stamina which is what I was looking at and can go straight into my defence leaving one of them to go into midfield.

Look who I bought tonight for 40k GBP, an English 19-yr-old keeper worth 120k GBP market value. And he shares my surname (Monroe).

How did I get this bargain? He got his 5th keeping ball after being put on the market, so only showed up if you searched for 4 ball keepers!!??

Shame about the taxes or I would sell him tomorrow. But 40k to 150k in 15 weeks ain't a bad investment and he might not be maxed.

Just made a new foreign signing. The price is abit excessive but at the age there is a good future for him. Possible future Italian international in a few seasons and he also came from a new team too. Hoping for a partial in tackling

Btw, if you want him in their national team, you're gonna need some more speed and stamina, especially speed if he's going to be a defender and not a defensive midfielder. They might want heading and cross balls, too. Good luck though.
