Oh sure, deportation is totally in order for burning a flag. Anyone ever heard of the right to free speech --> the right to protest --> the right to burn whomever's flag you choose wherever you choose. To arrest/deport/bureaucratically vilify these people, no matter how vile one might think they are, would be to degrade Britain's democracy.

Well, this whole thing probably never would've happened if Britain backed down from the War on 'Terror'. But no, Tony wants to stick with Anglo-US relations and thusly isolate him from Europe. Clever.

No, what I'm saying is that Al-Queada said they would attack the countries of the coalition. As soon as Tony marched people into Iraq, we were on that list. Without due reason, he follows Bush and doctors a document claiming Saddam could blow us up with 45 minutes.

Fair enough. If they despise the country they live in, they should be deported. Might make them hate us more but **** 'em.

Don't you know that there are "rules" that govern free speech? Like, it's illegal to yell "fire" in a crowded movie theater because it causes panic and people could get hurt. If you know who the people are that the Sun story is talking about, these people fit under that category. These people are known to incite young muslims to perpetrate acts of violence against non muslims. The shoe bomber Richard Ried came from that mosque, as well as a bunch of other people just arrested in Britain.
Free speech doesn't mean you can say whatever you want. These people who are burning the flag in that story are bastards, and have every reason to be deported... And I guarantee you that 70 percent or more of the British public agrees.

Of course I realise that there are policies regarding free speech, but I don't see how yelling 'fire' in a corwded theater is analogous with political protest. Just because these people are from a particularly notorious mosque, does that preclude them from their right to free speech?
As for these people being bastards - why? What are the reasons for them being deported? And I guarantee you that you plucked that figure from your arse, and even if 99% of the British population agreed, it doesn't make it legally or morally right.l
