I've been to both, and while I am biased this is the easiest decision I have probably ever had to make.

I've been to Toronto, and it was alright. I then went out of the city for a day and it was awful.

The USA has many different kinds of cities. There is a lot of variety. There are cities that are extremely hot all year like Miami. There are cities like Boston and Chicago where it gets extremely cold. We have mountain ranges. We have two oceans (well, Canada has mountain ranges and two oceans as well, but the water in the Atlantic and Pacific is too cold to swim in up north). The USA has Hollywood. The only reason any movies/television shows are shot in Canada is because it is cheap.

The cities in the USA are cooler and more exciting than those in Canada. We have Los Angeles, Miami, Seattle, New York, New Orleans, Boston, Philly, Washinton, Las Vegas, Honolulu, San Juan, etc. Canada has what? Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal?

I honestly don't give a **** about "Quality of life" ratings. The USA is naturally more diverse than Canada. In the USA, it can be -30 degrees in one place, and 80 degrees in another on the same day! The USA has Caribbean Islands, the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, etc. Canada only has a bunch of mountains and Niagra Falls, and the USA has both too!

Their cities may be cleaner, but there is more to a city than that. I think New York is dirty and that needs to be changed, but there is so much more to do in a city like Los Angeles and Las Vegas than there is to do in Vancouver or Toronto.

They call Canada "America Junior" for a reason. I have nothing against Canada, but I do think there is more to do in the USA.

you also have race riots, decrepit inner cities, an ever growing gap between rich and poor, irresponsible ultra-conservative bible thumping government causing fear and mistrust world wide, highest murder rate in the western world, second only to China in executions, pathetic health care system, school shootings, hate groups, homegrown terrorists, exploited minorities etc, etc...but you're right about the oceans being too cold to swin in up here...

I've lived on the west coast, east coast, been everywhere in between both in the USA and Canada, and I even lived for an entire year in Connecticut, which I absolutly loved and would live there again in a heartbeat. The US is definatly superiour in many ways, especially when it comes to opportunity, which doesn't exist in Canada to nearly the same level. Canada also has some of the most untouched natural beauty in the world, but it's not just outside of Toronto..

Both countries have their positives and negatives, but before you dump on Canada at least come up with something better than "Canada only has a bunch of mountains and Niagara Falls"

Well naturally, what does Canada have besides Niagra Falls and mountain ranges?

The USA does have its problems, we do have way too many high crime areas, our education system is awful, etc., but I would still rather live here than anywhere else. I don't like the city I live in (New York) for a lot of reasons and would definitely rather live in another city, but there is no other country I would want to live in. I don't mind visiting other countries (I actually want to go to Vancouver), but in terms of living the USA is #1 for me.

Well, guys I was pretty drunk last night. I'm going to concede that Molson and Labatt Blue are two pretty damn good beers. I do think, however, that my favorite American beer, Sam Adams, kicks both of their asses.

You say it, but you never have a point when you bring it up. You say immature things like that because,
1. You can't argue them
2. You're wrong
3. I'm right
4. You can't handle it.

Besides, if people like me or hate me because of a forum, sorry to say, but you have no ******* life.

Oh and just to clear it up the overall message here is...

Bj menge that was not cool, You know Usa will never have the quality players Portugal have. The coach made the worst decisions picking the players and why are you trying to put Portugal in this. look at the size of the Usa and the size of Portugal. You guys feel like you won the world cup after that win.
