Now that Celtic have a healthy lead at the top of the SPL and this season's champions get an automatic Champions' League place and all the money that brings, surely the Celtic board could risk giving O'Neill some cash to maintain that lead and therefore recoup any outlay in transfer money. Of course they won't but I do think it would be worth it, Particularly if we can identify a playmaker(thank goodness Rangers beat us to Emerson) and a much needed goalkeeper.

I have a sneaky feeling you might nick Craig Gordon off us in the summer.
There'll be plenty of folk out of contract this summer though, I'd go for a playmaker whos done the course a couple times before... Roberto Baggio going to retire this year? I reckon he could do a job for a season.
