Free kicks, is it easy or just me?

I have had FIFA 2003 on XBOX for couple months...... just haven't posted here.

Umm........... I seem to be able to score free kicks from 45 meters with ease (I miss about 1 in 15), I seem to hit the green area easy. I put the ball marker on the spot. Aim the top corner. It seems to work.

Are they easy for you too? Is it the XBOX?

Yeah i know 50yarders should be near to impossible to do but they are quite easy, i mean when in a footy match do u see someone score from 50 yards

yeap same thing happened to me, as long as the ball doesnt hit the wall they just go in... u dont even need to put a spin on or anything it just goes in.

for closer freekicks its harder cause the wall is longer and its hard to get it passed so I usually hit the post... I still havent really masterred the whole putting a spin on the ball thing but it works fine without it anyways, if you hit the wall most of the time you get the ball back and you score but not always.

if you want to use the spin just put the spin all the way to the right or left depending on the shooter...right side for a righty and left for a lefty...and also don't put it on the bottom of the ball try to keep the curser on top of it

the ball will not hit the wall ever if you hit it right so all you need to do is aim the curser in the top corner away from the keeper and rip it

Yes I totally agree, the freekicks are easy, especially when the Computer puts the walls in rediculous positions often leaving a whole side open to smack the ball into :P

Close, Long range, Angled are all easy to score from. I tend to put the cursor on the ball either bottom left or right corner depending where the keeper is, and it curls right into the net :)

My favourite is when you are more or less straight infront of the goal but not too close, then you can smack it with the outside of the foot for power and swerve! (aka Carlos).
