Nesta - This guy is simply class!

Nedved - He is just so important of a player.. Juve really missed him in the finale..

Shevchenko - Does anyone actually realise he reached his top form during the closing stages of the CL? Honestly, I didnt think he'd be chosen by UEFA.. But I just have to vote my favorite player

i like how all the players came from approximity 4 teams. you cant claim all the top players in europe are on 4 teams.

What the hells wrong with UEFA??? how does a team that reached the semi finals have more entrants than the two finalists????? this ballot is embarassing to say the least, how players such as Dida, Crespo, Inzaghi, Pirlo and Rui Costa were not nominated is beyond me. That being said, heres my choices:

MVP: Nedved

Forward: hard to say really, Inzaghi was amazing in the first half of the competition, with only Milans sucess being the reason for him missing out on top scorers honours(was rested in unimportant games). I guess RVN, who did lead in scoring deserved the award
