What would you do(for soccer) if you were a billionare?(like Abramovic)

If I were a billionare, I would buy Manchester United. I would give them a transfer budget of 300 million and a bank balance of 700 million. And I would MAKE them sign some good players. I would expand the stadium filling all the ends and making it a capacity of 90000. What would you do if you had the chi-ching?

I would also like to buy Manchester U, expand stadium to 90k or whatever, but keep spending smart regardless of how much I have. Giving your coach too much gets to his head and sometimes coaches begin to think to themselves "who cares we got raped this season I'll just dish out another 200m next season we might win". I would opt for improving the youth academy to bring it to the levels of Ajax' and Le Championnet's. That way we can build success with the help of money not just outwright buy it.

Yeah, I would set up academies all over the world to bring up some youth.

buy channel 7's contract of australian football and give it to sbs. bring foreign-based australians back to australia. massive media promotion of the "Australian Premier League" which would be based on the structure i've suggested a few times down in sgo forums. take over nrl and afl and just stop games from being played.........

Hire some mafia-like gentleman to rough up the opposition for Bayer's games.

Roman would probably only have under a billion of his money left if he bought old trafford aswell, Roman is worth just over 2 billion isnt he?, can someone clarify this please.

Manchester United is worth way over the billion mark.

United wouldnt be able to expand the stadium capacity, the council won't let them.

Buy out the SFA, SPL and the SFL

Get all the clubs in Scotland out of Debt

Expand the SPL to 18 teams

Give all the teams in the SPL £50mil to spend and then we'd have some competitivness

Get a decent youth system so that we might have a half-decent NT in 20 years

Buy some Conference side and make them CL winners

I would buy the MLS, and change a bunch of its rules. For one, I would get rid of the rule that each team could only have 3 non-Americans or something like that. I would make it 6 or 7. Secondly, I would give all teams control of their players, not the MLS, so if a team wanted to sell a player, they could without the MLS' approval. I would then buy a team, the MetroStars, and build a new 60,000 seat stadium in Harrison, NJ (they want to build a 30,000 seater, but I'll get to why this will make sense). After that, I will buy David Beckham, yes, David Beckham. Beckham has previously stated he would like to be famous here and there are a lot of Manchester United and Beckham fans here in the New York area. With Beckham, we will sell out every game. With the increased revenues in MLS, other teams will gain popularity, and the sport will gain popularity as well. This affect would create more good players in the USA, and help our national team. Also, more players would want to come to America.

I also forgot to say that I would change the format of the MLS season. The season would start in August and end in June, and would include a 2 month break from the middle of December through the middle of Feburary since that is the coldest time of the year, and for some MLS teams (Revs, Metros, Crew, DC United, Chicago, Kansas City) the weather would be too cold to play soccer.

After that, I would buy the Blackburn Rovers. I would continue to develop their youth academy. They need a striker, so I would get Fernando Morientes from Real Madrid for 12 million pounds. He would at least play there, and I would also buy John O'Brien where he could play in the central midfield, something he can't do at Ajax. I would also solidify my defense by signing Carlos Puyol from Barca, as my big signing. I would cap all of this off by bringing Damien Duff back to Blackburn, although I am not sure if that evil man Abromovich would sell him back.

I would Buy arsenal and set up the new stadium.

Transfer budget of 50 million

set up soccer schools that are on same level as normal school. Get an education and play football higher some of the best coaches.- Free education

Set up arsenal soccer schools all across asia and us to break that market.

Buy the playboy mansion and all of the bunnies

I would give some to RKSV Heer, the club where I play for, they sure could use some money, our dugouts are old busstations! Some money to MVV, the club of my town, they have financial problems, but I would give PSV the most, to buy some really good players so they can compete with the top teams of Europe

Help out clubs who are in financial debt.

1. Buy out the English FA and alter the rules so that Everton are the only club in England allowed to win anything!

2. Buy out UEFA and alter the rules so that Everton are the only club in Europe to allowed to win anything!

3. Buy out FIFA and alter the rules so that AUSTRALIA are the only nation allowed to win anything! - change the FIFA World Cup to be a 16 nation tournament and include all 12 Oceanic teams. - with NO PLACES GOING TO SOUTH AMERICA OR EUROPE!

4. Buy out Soccer Australia - make it more corrupt than it already is (with me at the helm)

5. Give the rest to Everton and make them the richest club in the world!

My plans for world domination.....

2) Buy a World Class Striker, Centeral Defender and Left Back

3) Pay Roman Abramovich to take all his assets out of Chelsea and put them into 'Hong Kong United'

4) Laugh as Chelsea and Sunderland sink like stones, and Newcastle conquor the world of football

I would buy Real Madrid, sell all their players for £1M, then go buy AC Milan and do whatever's needed
