    I personally set a rule to not buy free agents until atleast a week has passed since the transfer window has been opened. That allows other teams to sign the free agents(which is vital to keep the game competitive and other team not getting worse over time).

    For regen yes, you need to start a new season. It can be the same save or new save but it needs to be a new season. It won't retroactively fix the players that have already been generated. Also verify if the mod is working by looking at the development plans and checking if you see the new plans...

    It's a bit complicated at the moment due to the new title update but normally, you would download FIFA Mod Manager and just add this mod to the tool and just hit play. Now due to the update, that broke so you need to also have FIFA Live Editor launched before you do that.
