can't decide whether to get FM 06 or Fifa Manager 06

Bear in mind that youngsters (especially before the age of 19/20) are much more prone to problems holding morale after a bad result or even simply because of media pressure being heaped on their shoulders .... Some kids can handle the pressure week-in, week-out, many can't - as a manager...

Main Differences between FM and CM?

I won't comment on rival games but the impression I get is you want to know about FM for the PSP ... FM PSP is a brand new game which uses modules from our prior games for AI etc. to ensure its as realistic as possible, it also uses the PC games database. The game itself is akin to our...

    FM 2006 ....a big dissapointment.. ):

A lot of this side of things is dependant on player personalities and morale ... if you don't know your squad well then I'd suggest erring on the side of safety (I document some fairly 'safe' teamtalk options in my hints and tips guide). Examples of this: "Doing Well" - if this is a...

    FM 2006 ....a big dissapointment.. ):

This is indeed the case as it is irl, if a player is important to a team then they'll generally want much more for him than his 'neutral' (ie. displayed) valuation ... if he's unsettled or unrequired then you might get him for less. When considering a player try and think of the circumstances...

New FM user here with some questions

    (1) You can play for as long as you want - so long as you've enough disk-space. We regularly run automated tests for over a hundred years in-house, although the longest I've ever played for myself is around 40 seasons in one game (by which time our next game was completed so I moved over onto...

FM 2006 purchased, I am back in the fold, BUT IT DON'T WORK!

Here are some common problem/solution links to do with running the game ... "Cannot locate the CD-ROM": SIbase Article #133 Game doesn't auto-install: SIbase Article #172 covers manually installing the game from the CD. Game doesn't start: SIbase Article #173 covers third-party skins...

    FM 2006 for XBOX 360 (13/4/2006) and PSP (13/04/2006).

Yeah, beats having a 'real' job ;) In theory an editor would be able to do anything. In practice when we do one (most likely FM PSP2) we'd look at graphics/skin stuff and pre-game data editing.

    FM 2006 for XBOX 360 (13/4/2006) and PSP (13/04/2006).

PS> In case you lot aren't aware the PSP has 32Mb of memory onboard (24 usable by games) - this is comparable with a lot of PC's which existed when CM3 was released ... for a handheld its ludicrously powerful :D

    FM 2006 for XBOX 360 (13/4/2006) and PSP (13/04/2006).

The PSP game won't ship with an editor in the first version, subsequent versions we're hoping to allow editing - but obviously there's a certain amount of negotiation with Sony required for this (as they're naturally paranoid about external data being read in by games - after all its over-runs...

    FM 2006 for XBOX 360 (13/4/2006) and PSP (13/04/2006).

Its not going to be anywhere as simplistic as a mobile phone game. The PSP version is aimed to be around the complexity of the CM3 series of games, ie. realistic, fun to play and much faster than the FM PC product. Its got several leagues to select from and shares the database from the PC...

    FM 2006 for XBOX 360 (13/4/2006) and PSP (13/04/2006).

There are a few old work in progress screenshots on the net, we'll be releasing some new updated shots at some point before release - but at the moment we're concentrating on getting the game finished and as good as possible :D

    where is it?

You can suspend training manually by simply reducing it to 'zero' on the training intensity - but it is automatically done during the holiday periods for clubs.

FM 2006 Gold Demo out now!!!

If you'd care to email me details of any problems I'll look into them (although I would ask you give me an independant source on the net where I can check the factual accuracy of any info you send). With regards to 'shared youth teams' this isn't supported by the game engine currently but if...

Football Manager 2006 Beta Demo out now

Please bear in mind this IS a beta and the data present in it is far from final. If you find any problems with it please report them on the sigames.com forum so that we can ensure they're rectified before the games released. Thanks, Marc

    Programmed matches?

I'm afraid I can ;) Seriously though I'm guessing that your team is having a 'bad hair' (or form) day generally ... possibly combined with a certain amount of over-confidence (if your players aren't particularly professional this can cause serious problems when you're on a good run now and...
