I second that. The only thing I don't like about PES2009 is, sometimes players go through each other like they are ghosts or something which is ridicilous to me! That is something Konami consider fixing it asap! But other than that PES 2009 is the game to play!

Why not. It will work just fine with all those patches you mentioned. And as far as I know, it doesn't have to be original. Good luck.

If you delete your option file, you'll see the new transfers offline as well. If you don't, you'll only see the applied patch for online play.

No! You don't have to do that. Just apply the patch. Pretty simple actually.
