    yeah it happened suddenly ,i think its something related to my RAM but then other games are running smoothly which needs more memory than FIFA 08 like crysis and assassin's creed which I ran just to check if its got to do with my PC ,Thanks !

    Same patches are installed when the game used to work without hanging ,did system restore but still having the same problem :( ,should i install the game in a different drive?

    Well dont know whats the problem with my PC but it seems that Fifa 08 take a bit more time than it used to do previously ,I play Fifa 08 which used to run smoothly but nowadays it takes a while to start and it even hangs for atleast 3 secs or so before running smoothly and then it hangs again...
