    Game continually crashes while loading for a match

    had excatly same problem with saitek 3000. you need the 'gamepad patch' it replaces original fifa.exe but it was only way i could get it to work, even with original game - its pathetic when you have to resort to cracking an original game to get it to work.

    I hope this works for you - i had same problem and have spent the past two days checking my system out. Finally, I noticed that fast write was enabled in the BIOS but not in my ATI control panel under SMARTGART - so i enabled it and PRESTO! all is well:) Hope you can do this with Nvidia cards...
