We always tend to enter who played the most for each tournament. In the first game it can detect that a player misses the first game because he is recovering from an injury that occurred at the end of the season.

I begin to tell you what will be in 4.2.
As you know I have serious problems so for three months absolutely nothing has been done. A first part was done in the days following the 4.1 release and the few database additions were done in the last 20 days... So it won't be an update full of playable content.

About 200 faces added and revised
(Thanks to M8no2001 for purchasing a bunch of faces from Telega that will raise the quality level of the patch both now and in the future).
And thanks also to Silnysilacz for his latest works (I'll post the news shortly, I haven't had time yet)

I fixed on my database copies. These fixes will not be present in the next release but in 4.3. Everything that is post 2010 I've never checked for lack of interest in this decade. I simply added in the patch.Nice!
Some suggestions:
1. Diaby played all 3 games for France 2010 but is a substitute, same thing with Abidal (2/3) and Sagna (2/3), Reveillere is starting even though he played 0 minutes, also France 2010 doesn't have any central miedfielders on the bench.

2. Despite huge respect for Buffon, he only played 46 minutes for Italy 2010, while Marchetti became the starting GK, Iaquinta and Pepe started in 3/3, Marchisio 2/3 (while Pirlo had 34 minutes).

3. Portugal 2010 played 4 games at WC2010, and all with 4-3-3, Deco only came on as a substitute in 1 game.

4. For Brazil 2010 Juan started 5/5, Thiago Silva (who is in the starting squad now) played 0 minutes, Michel Bastos instead of reserve started 5/5.

6. Argentina 2010 played all their games in 4-3-1-2, Mascherano played in midfield, Burdisso started 3 instead of Samuel's 2, Huguain played 341 minutes over Aguero's 107, Tevez also started in 4 games.

7. England 2010: Barry > Wright-Phillips, Upson > Carragher.

8. South Africa 2010 has Moeneeb Josephs as GK but I believe it should be Itumeleng Khune (played more minutes)
Other WC 2010 teams might need to be checked because there are some strange instances happening like Thiago Silva starting for Brazil.

Personally I think the best way is "tournament average".
For example, Russia at Euro 2008 played first and second matches without Arshavin due to red card suspension, but then he became one of the stars of the tournament and definitely needs to be in the squad.
Or Dzyuba at WC 2018 was also a substitute in the first game (Smolov was starting), but then went on to become one of the key players of that team.

é rischioso. Ti faccio un esempio di come questo sistema da me ha fatto cilecca. Everton 70-71. In campo avevamo un certo Lyons preso dalla prima partita di UCL e messo titolare. Lyons se non ricordo male ha giocato solo quella partita in tutta la stagione. Aveva sostituito un infortunato dell'ultimo momento. Noi per mesi avevamo in campo una riserva, anzi un giovane.

Let's try starting a new project. Copa America. For the reasons you know it will be different in timing. In short, I will not stay alone on this project but I will slowly complete it. I am aware that I am not very knowledgeable about this competition also because in Italy it is broadcast on pay channels at times that are impossible for us. In short, I've only seen half a game in my entire life, in 1999. My goal is to get to the 1989 edition. Why this date? Because I'm not able to make kits. I can stop where my kit maker skills are safe. For me beyond my abilities it is a huge expenditure of time and energy. I'll start from 1916 and we'll see how far we can get, database, commitments and bad luck permitting.

I know you don't care much for 2000s, and I personally know very little about CA, but I believe good people like @valambrosio2 @ovide @JulesMate52 and others have most of 2000s Copa Americas basically finished if you are open to adding them eventually.

For now I'm only interested in up to 1989 and I'm intransigent on this. There is a huge reason also dictated by experience. I can't know where I'll end up (as written above for database reasons, commitments, and bad luck) so I can't, at this moment, get someone to do jobs that risk being useless, canceled for one of the reasons mentioned above. Another thing, dictated by experience, is not wanting to repeat the situation of the unqualified players for WC 2002 and 2006. I demand a high level of kits and I can't stand to correct or redo shirts or wait a year to complete them. So I prefer to take things one step at a time. For now stop at 1989 categorically. I make no concessions of any kind on this matter.

As an argentinian, it's amazing to see more love to CONMEBOL... it will certainly increase the number of south american players for the rosters. Besides, you have teams like Argentina 47 that are gling to be interesting (Di Stefano playing for Argentina)
