Hi @GIGGIRIVA ! I hope you are doing well.
I would like to thank you and your mates for assembling this amazing encyclopedia of football. The research and the graphical work is truly impressive.
However I have a few questions regarding the way stats were designed/ decided in the patch. For instance I find physical stats such as pace, agiltiy and stamina (particularly stamina) to be overpowered for many players. As a consequence, players feels a bit to agile and samy with the controller in the hand. Also the gameplay feels significantly faster/arcady than with the default database or the FIP one for instance.
I am wandering if this is something your are planning on reworking or is it by design? If it is by design what was the reasoning behind?

PS: I don't want to sound rude or disrespectful. I really admire what you have achieved. Just the stat side doesn't feel in par with the rest of the patch in my opinion.

@GIGGIRIVA some weeks ago I posted this message above. I am wandering if you ignored it because you didn't find it relevant, or if you just missed it, because of the hard weeks you had to go through.

I have not read any messages prior to my return because it was three months to recover. Otherwise I'd still be replying XD

The players are all clones of players already existing in the game So for better or worse the values are the default ones. They all have good health because they are all "prime" versions. Every player is made to perform at their best as if they were all 20 years old. Since there is no career, therefore without an aging system, they are all "the same age" and in full force.

So the basic reasoning to create them doesn't exist.... they are all clones of more or less similar players in terms of career and OVR. The first to be created, the strongest, have undergone major changes within 10 years, let's say that those are no longer direct clones of other players. Now I don't remember exactly... But Van Basten if I remember correctly was a clone (later revised over the years) of Ibrahomovic. Zoff from Buffon, Platini I think from Del Piero (enhanced) Maldini I think from Sergio Ramos... But it's been 10 years, I don't remember exactly.

Gameplay is the default one. Nothing ever been touched.

Im afraid this method leads to other problems, like wrong call names/commentary names.
I have explained here on CP16 thread where is the problem and how to fix it:

i agree this is an easier method to create very old players not available in any databases but players like you said Van Basten, Platini, Maldini can be taken from FIFA 23 Icons or FO4 databases with original EA stats (i know they arent perfect and most of the time boosted) but it will prevent other problems like wrong callnames or weird stats...

It's actually a NOT problem. I have been recommending turning off the audio commentary for 10 years. I had audio problems from the first change made with the CM (revised 11 Cagliari owners, so no addition of players). Already from that simple change all the names of the players had gone to hell. Not to mention, another thing said other times, that after 10 years hearing the usual comment, even with the usual bullshit they say, it gets boring. So the invitation is always the same. Turn off the audio commentary. Stadium only.

As for the EA stats of many ICONs they are totally busted for one simple reason. Not being part of the default game, but purchasable via packs on FUT, EA has created the base versions in a horrendous way because they know that people will get the pumped versions as the game progresses, in fact inviting them to get those versions. I got to try on recent fifa Baggio, Eusebio, Best and Puskas, Van Basten, Zanetti, Roberto Carlos to name a few. All absolutely unplayable. Baggio and Best were disarmingly slow, Baggio didn't make a decent shot even under torture. Eusebio they made a camion that he doesn't know how to pull. He punctually made obscene shots in front of the goalkeeper. Van Basten in headers made it scandalous. Roberto Carlos always seems to be on a bad day, he is never decisive on the wing. Then when the versions obtainable later on over the months arrive, here come some appreciable, realistic or hyper pumped ICONs. The only EAs done properly are Gullit, Matthaus, Baresi, Cannavaro, Vieri, Crespo (lethal).
