Maybe because it doesn't work, until today there is no tutorial on how to convert from 14 to 13.

Have you ever converted a face from 14 to 13 and it worked ??
I converted from fifa 14 to 12 which is the same and it worked.
And i didnt have any problem.
also i didnt need that mod by tokke

I don't understand either, I just did what you say and what is written in the manual and it doesn't work correctly.

finally i made FIFA 13 faces work perfectly in FIFA 16 without head_bump

the thing is to insert these head_sk and head_nm in the face texture with rx3 master (CGFE16 gives bugs)
once you do it you can use that rx3 as a template to import the face texture directly with rx3 master
only thing left to be fixed is the neck conversion

If you have time, upload a tutorial for all FIFAs... (bumpless face means less space required)

unfortunately, i think you can achieve that only in FIFA 16, maybe FIFA 15 too
because the files needed in the bump (head_sk and head_nm) can be found in the face_texture.rx3
FIFA 14 and below dont have them, so you have to use bump

Because of not working hair combining issue, it took me a while to do this, but it's finally done
@tokke001 As far as I understand Combine Files feature from F11 still doesn't work?
Or even if worked, just combining two F11 textures doesn't make a working F14 file iirc.

So I am once again trying to convert this Malouda (hair) to F14:


The F11 files are hair_45601_0_0_textures and haircolour_45601_0_0_0_0_textures.
When I go to converter -> textures -> combine/split and choose these two files, nothing happens (not even with the previous FIFA Converter_21.11.28 version).

Anyway, there are two F11 style hair texture files if I export them manually:

For F14 style hair texture rx3 we need these types of 2 files:

And I am doubtful that the converter, even if it worked, could transform the haircolor texture with skin into the black-and-white texture needed for F14?

So the current result with the two F11 exported textures and imported into a F14 container (haircolor resized to 512x512) is this:

FIFA Converter - Renaming function


My tool has some options for changing ids,
a bit more info here
u can find this at:
tab "OTHER" > subtab "Files" > "Fix Ids"

1. Rename ids in files from a list

this will change ids (ex. player/team ids) in files such as rx3, dds, .big miniface, ... files
or things like creating specific eye-textures from a list is also possible this way !

1. input the list of ids
at "(correct) ids" input the list, u can copy-paste this from excel :
[old-id] , [tab] , [new-id]
ex. if u want change id 41 to 1, 42 to 2 :

* click "rename files"
* select the files u want rename the ids
-> the tool will always search for the id after the first "_" ,
or for dds files it will use the first id
-> the output files can be found in the "_exp" folder, created in the folder of the source files

So I am still having weird issues with converting F16 boot textures to F14.

My theory now is that texture rx3s become corrupt and cash the game if they were converted to a hogher resolution than they originally are.

Example:
My new custom shoe_#_%_textures tempalte in MyTemplates_Textures is x1024.
If the source F16 textures rx3 is x1024 or larger, the conversion works fine and the game works.
If the source F16 textures rx3 is smaller than x1024 (e.g. x512), the conversion still keeps the x512 resolution and the game crashes when trying to load such texture.

When I tried to convert the F16 textures rx3 (x512) with the original converter's shoe_#_%_textures tempalte (x256), all worked well.
after a long search,
i think this error will be fixed at next tool version :
the problem may be the number of mipmaps is wrong, that may crash the game

if u convert with "Destination Size (rx3-template)",
and the size of your rx3 file (512x512) is smaller then the template (1024x1024) ;
the tool will take 512x512 size as output (to not loose quality)

but the error is : it always took the number of mipmaps from the template (11 mips for a size of 1024x1024),
but it should be 10 mips for a size of 512x512
-> it may crash the game

i only tried this "combine" function only once and it worked
it was some time ago with an old modded face
i think i used 21.11.28 or the previous version
cant remember exactly

for the combine textures function
there seems be a bug indeed: the new textures arent imported
will be fixed at next version !

a note for this function :
* the texture format will be set correct (the one from the FIFA 14/15/16/... template)
* further edits may be needed: transparancy (of color text)
(those notes apply when the combine function is fixed, at next tool version ofc)

No convert just replace file.
But I did that, I converted using the tokken tool, I modified the name of this file with the player id and the word bump as I was told and the black mouth bug continues, but the black mouth bug is when it is in the game, did you check the conversion in the game ??

Notice that with the token tool the ear is smooth and the mouth is very strange.

The version on the right was converted from the F03 but no one knows how, it doesn't need a bump, it's pure conversion.

I use vanilla FIFA 13 and when I used the bump nothing changed.

because FO3(new) faces are compatible with FIFA 12/13. they are same format. so there is no need for bump file

Yes I know. But why the bump that you say that works doesn't work ?? You have FIFA 13 and you can check it at game time ??

I used the bump and nothing changed.
