Obviously you see 1869-70 as the starting date for all leagues. Obviously we are all aware that the English championship began in 1888-89, the Italian one in 1898. But why such a distant date. There are two main reasons.

The first is to have some spare ID as mentioned before.

The second because in this way I could recreate the teams that participated in the various FA CUPs. Wanderers, Old Ethonians, Royal Engineers, Clapham Rovers and so on. Maybe it will be impossible to create these teams for every single season ... but at least I lay the foundations to be able to make them. The foundations, leaving nothing to chance. It would be enough for me just to be able to recreate the finalists of each edition of the FA Cup.

hai ragione su tanti punti, io in effetti ho iniziato a creare le squadre stagione x stagione proprio xche' c'erano tanti giocatori disponibili proprio grazie alle squadre quinquennali.. con un altro nick avevo collaborato anche io alla patch di FIFA 10, ho iniziato a conoscere il database e i dlc da li', anche se non conosco tutte le cose che sapete te e il tuo staff.. cmq so creare squadre, tornei, mettere insieme piu' patch in un unico db

adesso sono riuscito a crearmi un procedimento con excel con cui riesco a convertire qualsiasi db apribile col dbmaster di qualsiasi fifa in meno di 2 ore e renderlo giocabile in meno di una settimana (io riesco ad editare circa 10 ore alla settimana) almeno come amichevoli

se ti serve qualcosa per il passaggio da fifa 14 a fifa 16 fammi sapere o se ti servono squadre. il progetto e' cmq molto bello e mi piace, ho giocato di piu' alla cp16 che a tutti gli altri fifa messi insieme.
inoltre ho pronti del 1988/89 (per fifa 16 i campionati di italia, francia, spagna, scozia, le 2 germanie e inghilterra (tutte e 4 le divisioni) con loghi e maglie e sono perfettamente funzionanti in carriera (l'italia con il calendario reale di allora) e tornei con date di nascita dei giocatori reali, mondiali a 24 squadre, europei a 8 squadre e anche le date che appaiono nel menu iniziano dal 1988 come in fifa originale

Sì. è stata tutta un'evoluzione graduale. In questo momento c'è la possibilità senza stressarsi (kit permettendo) di poter ricostruire la quasi totalità dei team di punta aggiungendo quei giocatori che magari hanno fatto poche partite e i giovani del settore giovanili.

Il tuo lavoro è più incentrato sulla carriera (con tanto di annata di partenza settata sul calendario) partendo da una stagione specifica. Io lavoro più su tornei per vari motivi e il più importante di tutti è che non ho mai sopportato la carriera di FIFA. Credo di non giocarci da FIFA2005. Questo perché ho scoperto Football Manager che mi dava più profondita di gestione su ogni aspetto rispetto a FIFA. Su FIFA quando impari a giocare puoi prendere una squadra di 4 serie inglese e vincere la FA Cup alla prima stagione, senza intervenire sul mercato. Si tratta solo di abilità del giocatore e questo lo rende noioso. Ma ci sono anche aspetti di gestione come giocatori presenti in più squadre nello stesso database che lo rendono impossibile. Comunque sapere che esistono praticametne mezza stagione 1988-89 mi conforta e mi rende felice! Il problema sarebbe convertirla da 16 a 14. Io non sono capace. Altrimenti dovrei rifare tutto da zero, lentamente, nel corso del tempo.

Your work is more career-focused (complete with a starting year set on the calendar) starting from a specific season. I work more on tournaments for various reasons and the most important of all is that I have never endured a career in FIFA. I think I haven't played it since FIFA2005. This is because I discovered Football Manager which gave me more management depth on every aspect than FIFA. On FIFA when you learn to play you can take a team of 4 English leagues and win the FA Cup in the first season, without intervening on the transfer market. It's all about the player's skill and that makes it boring. But there are also management aspects such as players present in multiple teams in the same database that make it impossible. However, knowing that there are practically midseason 1988-89 comforts me and makes me happy! The problem would be to convert it from 16 to 14. I am not capable. Otherwise I would have to redo everything from scratch, slowly, over time.

They will be converted into single season teams based on the kits we have. Slowly over the next few months they will be converted or eliminated. Teams that have no correspondents in the single vintage will be "converted" and if we have two sets of different kits "split". Maybe not paying attention to the gk kit initially. While the teams that have a total coverage such as AC Milan 2005-10 will be eliminated.

As some may have noticed many of the leagues only presented one team at the moment. Having already created the tournaments, I must necessarily add at least one team where it is needed in order for the tournament to work. So from now until Christmas I will fill these holes to start for the 90s (2000-2010 I have no holes of this kind) and then slowly, if I can with the times, also the 80s. I think it will be an easy job. We have many kits in the 5-year teams. It will just be to extrapolate a team from those teams. For Premier 96-97 we already have the jerseys in the patch for Arsenal, Newcastle and Chelsea. to indicate a few, so it will be a simple job. in the Spanish league where Real Madrid is missing, Real will be added, Where Barcelona is missing ... obviously Barcelona. Here too, looking at the context of the kits already present in the 5-year teams.

I've been working on two versions of the patch at the same time since April-May. Update 3.3 with everything I've created since July and will be released in October (maybe mid October) as mentioned a few days ago here on the forum and 4.0 for Christmas. As there have been huge ID changes for the club leagues it will obviously be upgraded as AIO (all in one) in order to eliminate obsolete files with old IDs. Being an AIO, therefore very heavy, I preferred to wait for the canonical Christmas date so as not to have everything re-downloaded every 6 months and also to have the time and the way to test.

It would be really a dream to have for each league the top 5 top 7 Teams of single year teams each decade
Perhaps for the 80s and 90s and 2000s
For the earlier decades it is quite difficult/ impossible to have so many teams

There are still the 5 years teams for example besiktas 2000 2005
HSV 2000 2005
Kyiv 2000 2005 although the single year teams are present in FIFA 2000 2001
They can be replaced manually

Difficult ... I can take 5 years from teams. But I don't know exactly which seasons we have kits. Two teams are enough for me to have the tournament active and expandable with a few clicks. The rest will come, if it does, slowly.
