I also managed to export the Legends commentary DLCs from FIFA16 XBOX 360, but they don't work ingame. All the lines are there, but they are a different encoding format specific to XBOX360, whereas FIFA16 PC uses PS3 audio.

@fifayoun Do you know of any kind of program or tool that can open and extract from EA FIFA soundbanks? I've been desperately trying to add all the player names and team commentary from 2014 World Cup which aren't in FIFA 16. There are missing lines for all qualified teams from 2014 + lines from UEFA EURO 2012 & 2008 & 2010 World Cup carried over into the 2014 World Cup commentary (lines about team-specific match events: goal, penalties, corners, throw-in, substitutions, attacking play) which aren't included in FIFA16.

From my knowledge it's not commonname, but lastnameid which triggers the commentaryID in playernames

Yes, they indeed have. Pelé for example is 926261.

The reason why the players you mention (Pelé, Maradona, Butragueno, Hierro, Baresi and Alan Shearer) do not have their commentaryname despite being in Legends is probably because they were not in the Classic XI in FIFA 14 (when the Legends dlc came out).

Back then Beckenbauer, Koeman and Brehme however were already part of Classic XI and therefore their commentaryname was already in the default game. The others were only added in the dlc files.

2. Yes, that's precisely my point. As soon as a player was removed from Classic XI to be a FUT Legend - the commentary disappears. I also forgot one more which doesn't have commentary: Lotthar Matthäus; Gheorghe Hagi does have commentary. I've managed to make some Legends players as part of EURO teams of the tournament and they do have their commentary lines (Henrik Larsson, Van Nistelrooy, Nedved, Figo).

Yes, I think that players who retired "recently" (who retired in the next gen FIFA 06-14 era) do have their commentary lines because of the fact that EA keep the commentary of a new commentary team (Martin Tyler, who became the lead commentator in the X360/PS3 FIFA era) in the game, therefore those players remained in the soundbank.

The older legends who were not in the game once Martin Tyler became commentator therefore won't have their names.

I could only find these 2 besides Pelé in the database:

Shearer = 927279 (officially not part of the "legends" update)

As for those missing names, it could be that they can still be activated since their references are simply removed.

For example, since Butragueño was no longer part of Classic XI from FIFA 14, but he was in FIFA 12 and 13 (with commentary), his name/commentary id is simply removed from the list.

So now it goes from Butler (921397) to Butscher (921401). So it skips id's 921399, 931399 and 921400. One of those must be Butragueño, we simply need a FIFA 12 database to find which one it is, to enable it again.

Yep, same thing goes for some of the names I posted above, but you can simply modify it to correspond to the exact player you want (I think). Knowing the ID is the most important thing.

If not, then I will also post the lastnameid.

I added both Hierro & Butragueno 's commentary IDs just now to the database, but they aren't heard in-game. :/

It indeed seems more complicated than I thought. I simply had a little test by changing Messi's commentary ID to Rakitic. However in the game Messi is still called Messi, so there is something else that needs to be done...

I think it's tied to the player ID as well.

The legends commentary are included in the FIFA 19 PS3 commentary files aswell, maybe this could help?
