Is this ever gonna be free for everyone? i don't have the payment methods so i still have to wait for the day that it will be for free, but.. will it ever be free?

right i haven't been here in a while so time to answer and put right a few things.

A certain few modders came along recently and took others work and started selling it. one is in the list given a few posts back. I am all for free mods, what i am against is people stealing work and reselling it. as soon as this happened to me i had to put a pay barrier in to block these leeches stealing again, and this year it made a huge difference. i earn too much from this,i hate it and don't want or need it. Its got to the point where im giving money to a charity.

Frosty is not free (at the moment). That's not my fault!

My first version of the Career Mod is free and all versions become free within 5-7 days. So all you paying for is early access.

The Unofficial Patch is completely free. And ALWAYS will be. EA shafted us and I am the only career mode modder who put that right. Others wanted to monetize it FFS!

I actively help people on my discord create their own mods too. Not hide behind a paygate to even speak to me.

So sorry stop this BS. I am with you, not against you.

cheers dude. yeah it will be. galaxyman has earned a lot from it this year so i dont blame him for not releasing sooner. he has fixed a couple of minor bugs and wants to support FIFA more (which is great!). as for a release date, i thought it would be this week. lets hope!

Career mode is not playable without Frosty editor...
As for this Patreon thing, it's a mixed situation, in the essence I do not like also. But given the complexity of this Frostbyte engine, there are modders who spend a lot of time and must have extensive knowledge, like Galaxyman or Fidel and a patreon link might just give them an extra motivation to go on, so I guess that if they release their work for free also a little later, a compromise could be made. Just imagine if we would not have Frosy just because the developer would have no motivation...
Of course, if a modder does not release it's work for free at all (and we know a couple), that is not acceptable, that man is called a mercenary and has no place among the modding community.
By the way, I do not think GalaxyMan is a fifa enthusiast so why bother making fifa editor if not for some money?

what people dont realise is how complicated this engine is. to reverse engineer it is insane! hes done this for free for some time now and deserves what he gets now. remember EA and YouTubers caused this mess guys. not us on SG. my hope is that his new unified framework will allow me to expand my modding ui to do FIFA only things a little easier.

So is it a one-off payment/donate for Frosty Tool or is it a kind of monthly membership you need to pay regularly for to have a fully working tool?

Nope. Just one off. Pay, grab the tool from discord links. Make sure it works, then cancel. All works fine.

Hi. Cheers dude. It was all working fine until 1.3 (where i made some changes), so i'll reapply my old files back in to 1.4. 1.4 will be out very soon I hope .

Stop spreading lies about my name. You know I didn't steal your files, you even acknowledged it yourself, then when I start getting some publicity and money you get all jealous. I don't want you to talk about me on your thread. Believe what you want to believe, but don't spread lies to other people. I have proof I didn't steal and you don't. Use both are mods. I dont know if you have looked at Volta but some modding for the replay cameras to be ungreyed out for the rotation and zoom would be needed to be done by someone at some stage (cheat engine sadly not allowing us to do this currently), but maybe some of your parameters within your locale.ini could affect the gameplay directly in Volta after I just witnessed the slider settings for the main game, actually affecting things in Volta, which has NO slider settings.....strange stuff.

I have looked at in the last week or so, the details in your SUPERB, and I mean that, your amazingly detailed FIFA Modding UI .exe, its brilliant, and I have been testing different values in all them anim/graphics, attrib weights, contextual, AI obj system sections.

One other thing, sorry to keep on. With todays FIFA 20 update, I noticed this evening (as well as the Volta sliders thing), that making drastic changes to the parameters in the locale.ini either using your GUI utility or doing it manually, I tried everything at 0 for all those sections I mentioned above, vs everything at 100 or 350, the highest they can be, seems to make no difference at present (unlike with the previous FIFA 20 build where clear differences were noticed in the gameplay), I think todays update is ignoring the locale.ini, as every gameplay seemed the same?? It might be my tired eyes though!!

Dear paulv2k4, I have always used your gameplay to watch matches in CPU vCPU mode, especially in previous FIFA before 2017. I liked the players hitting a lot of shots on goal and scoring a lot of beautiful goals. In FIFA 2017 and beyond there is a new engine, but if you watch matches in CPU vCPU mode, the game takes place in the center of the field, there are almost no shots on goal and goals. I put your new gameplay, but at halftime 4 minutes at the level of Your shots was 3-4, goals 1-2. It is not interesting to watch the rolls of the ball. Can you help me create a gameplay like FIFA 2016 with high performance?

• Player Potential (young players who future stars are expensive) - Players with over 5+ above their OVR potential have 25% higher value - Players with over 10+ above their OVR potential have 300% higher value - Players with over 15+ above their OVR potential have 400% higher value
• Redesign of the existing system to ensure realistic values throughout the game

Player Wages

• Lower league players ask for 20% less in wages
• Top players ask for 20% more in wages

Youth

• Age
  • Players wont "retire" from your youth system until they are 21
  • Generated players will now be between 16-21
• Traits
  • All youth players should have at least 1 trait
• Attributes
  • Generated center forward players are much more likely to be larger slower players
  • Generated wingers are much more likely to be faster rather than mentally skillful
• Scouting
  • Scouts are much more likely to find players of the type you searched for
  • It is much more difficult to find gem (high potential) players
  • Attributes will unlock much faster

Player Growth

• Players degrade much less (older players should keep their OVR for much longer)
• Dynamic Potential is not used as much and not as high
• Player attribute growth affects all attributes for all players

Morale

• Last match reaction
  • Calm players will react a little more to their last match
  • Hot tempered players will react much more to their last match
  • Players react far more if they think they should have played and wasn't
• Team performance
  • Draws barely affects their team performance morale, unless it was a must win
  • A loss outweighs a win in the balancing act in Team Performance
• Players are generally harder to keep happy
  • The values at which players become happy have been increased substantially
• Contracts
  • Players are more unlikely to be happy with their contracts, this is to reflect the current nature of the sport, where money is everything to players

Press Conferences

• There is much more of a risk or reward scheme to all press conferences

Player Conversations

• There is much more of a risk or reward scheme to all player conversations

Fitness Recovery

• Players take a little longer to recover from their last match

Form

• Form is much more balanced for AI teams and simmed matches
• Form now affects gameplay in a much more subtle way

Training

• Add composure, acceleration, jumping & GK attributes to player individual training

Injuries

• Severe injuries now take twice as long to get to "Match Fit"

Match Attendance

• Ensured that teams in the English Championship teams only sellout "critical" matches

Board and Objectives

• Provide fix for "profitability" clubs that require you to not give out large wages, resulting in a sacking
