Missing generic face textures in game - please help

Hello all,

I came into a very strange behavior of missing heads/textures in game for random players (experienced this for both Moddingway and HZB modes), despite those players have only generic faces, so no imported rx3 files (face,hair,hairlod,head), no tattoos (body) when i searched my fifa folder.
But from whatever reason, when i check those players for example in CM15, by default it is trying to show the face in "Face Moddeling" part like it would be custom made (so the button "Has generic face" is unticked), however when there is no rx3 file at all, everything is blank. In other words, game is prioritizing custom face option instead of generic face.

Well, there is a way how to correct it, i.e. to export generic face and paste it as rx3 file in sceneassets folder, but if this occurrence is on random basis, it is not sustainable to check every face in game.

I tried to search all over this forum, but without luck of finding some resolution or lead, therefore i would really appreciate if you could help me. Thanks!!!

Sure, I did not post anything, because basically there is nothing special to see...

So, when i start my FIFA14, for some random players I can see the head is missing (for example Ozan, player ID 239890):

Then, when I go to CM15 to see what happened, in face details tab I can see it is not using generic face by default but it behaves like there was some real face added (but actually it is not):

And when trying to find any rx3 file in sceeneassets, nothing:

Because in data base him is "credited' that has real face, try to tick "has generic face" box instead and save the db, but before make a back-up of db folder: Game/data/db!

And do you perhaps know where exactly in database is such a thing "credited" please? I could then easily compare faces i have in sceneassets with database and change it in a mass way. I was searching db, but to be honest did not see anything like for example Real Face 1/0 option...

yes, just read this thread. Basically, there are 2 ways how to resolve this issue:
1. do it manually in CM by ticking "Has generic face" and save the database
2. do it in a mass way directly in database by exporting "Players" into .txt and open it in excel. There you would find column named "headclasscode" where if generic face you have 1 and everywhere you find 0, the most probably it is because of this issue, so you need to change it to 1 (i think original FIFA14 players with real faces does not have generic faces, so you need to be carefull)

and just found there is another column in "players" database table which tells you, if player has a real face:
"hashighqualityhead"
