If you feel you're doing right, then stay. If it really is keeping you up at night, then I say leave. Your health is more important than anything.

@Fidel Gameplay , I know it's tough. I have a hard time ignoring shit like that too. But it serves no purpose to fixate on things. Negativity is everywhere. We always have the option to ignore it. Don't feel the need to defend yourself. Clearly the supportive responses to you on this page should tell you how people feel about your contributions to this game. Leave the community if you like, that is 100% your prerogative and none of anyone's business. But don't let this affect you personally.

All I can say in this type of unfortunate situations is what I've always said.
Just like I told @riesscar when he felt bad and wanted to quit (http://www.soccergaming.com/index.php?threads/riesscars-modest-mods.6466540/page-55#post-6553948 - I cleaned up that thread so you won't be able to see those posts, but Riesscar can tell you) is that I can't ban or do anything for things that happened outside of these Forums.

The screenshot Fidel uploaded here are from a Discord chat. Not my area.
In fact, I don't even like it when people bring their problems that happened OUTSIDE of SG to SG.
If it happened outside, resolve it outside.

As much as I appreciate Fidel's works over the year and I value you a lot as a modder, I can't do anything for you.
So it'll be up to you.

Take a couple of days and clear up your mind.
If by monday you're still decided to leave, I'll respect your decision and close this thread.
If you decide to change your mind, we'll be glad to have you as much as we'll be glad to have Paul's gameplay mods as well.



Oh and one more thing: If I ever catch the guy that was so snitchy to take a screenshot and tell Fidel what other guy was saying on a Discord, I'll ban THAT person. I won't tolerate MEN spreading gossip around like teenage girls. Being a snitch is the worst thing you can be as a man.



P.S: For the record, I've used Fidel's mods over the years (not this year though) and I have never ever had any viruses or hacks. My PC has always been as clean as a sunny day at the sea.

And did Paul really said that or is someone else using that name? And anyway, it was not on this forum. Riesscar had the same treatment on Discord but here there is no problem.
And overall that is the reason I do not use Discord anymore, too many people who just throw bad words in the direction of those who do something, without control, it is just a toxic atmosphere there.
My advice Fidel, abandon Discord and focus here as you have been doing from the start. Here is the place where old time Fifa players and modders reside and almost all know your worth. And the moderators here take actions against those who just want to spread venom.

Fifa 20 in soon upon all of us so I want to ask you, Fidel, if you gain access to the early files and what do you think? Is there any chance you move on with your tools for it?
About Frosty, all we can do is hope it will be released sooner than march 2020....

Currently I can't say anything before.
I will be able to say something only when I have access to the game data.
There will be many new columns in the database and I believe that RDBM will need to be updated.
I can now access the FIFA 20 database, but online via WWE (EA Sports World Football Web Editor).
About Frosty I hope for a publication immediately and not after a long time.

I hope EA has read my feedback to fix the LOD in gp cam.
Or to add inside the fifaconfig the LOD multiplier value, so everyone can setup as preferred.
Actually my feedback said to create a much more advanced and customizable fifaconfig, I hope it's done.
As for the database, I sent lots of feedback.

Looking at some fifa 20 gameplay videos, I noticed the same problem with fifa18 and fifa19 with regards to the details in play by all the cameras

Well, GalaxyMan says it will release it's tool with a unified framework working for all Frostbyte games, making open source this for fifa 20 among other games.
This could be both good or bad because he might choose to not add the fifa profile but let anybody who has the know how do it.
Fidel, it may be that you'll have your knowledge fully tested.

maybe ea just dont want to fix the lod issue to keep consoles on par with pc
lets not ask for the moon we will be happy to see a more flexible fifaconfig as you said

Hello,
è del tutto normale che quella telecamera funziona senza problemi con il gioco originale.
Per normalizzare basta selezionare personalizzata (anche con 10/10).
Posso dirti che ho provato e in effetti la telecamera campolargo non è delle migliori.
Quello che ho notato è che la campolargo ha un range di rendering molto limitato,
ad esempio se l'altezza è troppo bassa visualizza un grigio in basso, cosa che non si avverte con altre camere.
Praticamente con altre gp cam è possibile andare quasi dentro gli spettatori (crowd) senza problemi,
in the fact you can esay make your crowd vision gp cam but from other gp cams.

Il consiglio che posso darti è crearti una custom gp camera partendo dalla default gp cam, la predefinita.
Prova e fammi sapere.

About the default gp cam addon fbmod, just wait for the new pack.
