Need Help With Blender

Creating faces with Blender seems to be almost impossible to me.
All tutorials on Youtube are with Blender 2.68 on Windows 7 using FIFA14-3D-IE-v0.63.
I have Windows 10 and Blender 2.68 doesn't start at all.
Blender 2.79 works good but does not import textures.
I also tried FIFA14-3D-IE-v0.51 but didn't help at all.
I also tried Blender 2.73 and makes no difference.

I'd like to know what Windows you guys use and what version of Blender and addon.
