I also wish to have tournaments dressing implemented in the stadiums, but unfortunately with the old I/E script is impossible. If I use the new script the tournament dressing shows up, but there is some bug with the goals and corner flags. I don't have any damn idea why is this happening.
In the case with Da Luz, I made everything myself (meshes, textures, mapping, baking),but exported separated stadium files for each of the tournaments. This is the only way, but it takes time and I really need to want to do this. And... don't mind another 200 mb more in my stadium folder.
I have now around 20 stadiums to convert (including long time scheduled Olympic London, The Amex, John Smiths and Riverside)
Don't feel like I'm doing any extra dressing right now.
About EA stadiums - I don't touch them by the same reason. I just can't export their TournamentDressing groups. The script doesn't recognize the material names. Some other features also might not work properly. Lets say I want to edit Bernabeu. I will add some new texture then export it. But the tournament dressing won't work anymore. The props might not appear as well, because in the stadium model their number exceeds the script limitation.

And havent you find out the code ea uses for the tournament dress rx3? I mean with ea stadiums we jus use a rx3 file in sceneassets/tournament and all ea stadiums get dressed with ucl dress or uel dress

This is what I mean. If the TournamentDressing group in the stadium blender file doesn't work you can't have dressing. This group is essential for any stadium to show up tournament dressing. It's directly related to the sceneassets/tournament files.

so if i understand correctly if the original fifa 19 stadium doesn't have dressing conversion will be easier/possible?

I can convert any EA stadium as long as it has the parts already packed and mapped with their respective textures. The problem with the dressing is that the script doesn't export the Tournament Dressing group which is responsible for triggering the tournament textures in sceneassets/tournaments. The conversion process is always easier if I don't have to create something additional myself.

ok, i can't say i really understand what you're talking about)) but is there anything i can help with? and are you saying that all the stadiums exported from fifa 19 don't have the "parts already packed and mapped with their respective textures"? or is there at least something we could work with? i don't mean to bust balls i'm just trying to understand))

The WC host stadiums didn't have the textures packed and mapped to the parts back then. I had to work my own way. I don't use just blender, but other 3d programs as well. So, nothing you could really do concerning the conversion process itself. Today I spent 2 hours only to search images for Girona's stadium dressing, and then creating the texture file and the meshes. 4 hours to complete. But for my horror (and for your joy I guess :) ) the WC host stadiums are now available for better conversion. So sooner or later I'll do them.

Added dressing. I had to edit some lightmaps, because the night version was awful looking.

Hey Gonzaga, great work as usual... question for you... will you be making your stadiums with 1024x1024 adboards like you did with France's Parc des Princes???... someone posted 1024x1024 adboards and when put in the game adboards look more game realistic... just a thought...

The adboards are loaded by the game. They are not in the stadium model. I don't know how this adboard dimensions will show up in game.

Added the dressing from my San Mames. Changed the terrace red color to more saturate one. Also darkened the back wall under the roof so the lion and the crest have more contrast. Looks much better than the grayish color by default. The roof had some strange brightness bug, but I fixed it. Changed the roof texture, because the original one had stripes and they looked strange.
