Yes, and the DA/Creation Master is buggy, and using it means you're risking corrupting your game files. But if that's okkkkk with you, have at it. Me, I recommend exporting all tables and editing via the DBM/Excel method. Just like nuking aliens on LV-426, it's the only way to be sure.

I create a project if it works out I save it and add it in the mod, if the error closes the CG FILE without saving, so it will d good, only created players are getting no head plus add the ID by the CG DBM and solve.
Saving each time is good, that's the proper way to do it. And you do what you think is best. But no, missing heads is not the only issue. Names being deleted is one issue I've noticed. Have you checked every player on every team, to make sure their names are still there? Five names went missing on one team I checked after I edited one player's name. That's when I knew the tool was bugged and too risky to use.
Nafer even warned not to use the DA to edit his mod because it will corrupt the files. But again, whatever works for you.
The only mistake I saw was the heads up so far, names have not disappeared!
as I said only when I gave the error I continued the modification and everything was normal, I would enter the game and I would play a friendly and everything was normal, only when I went to test the career mode I saw the error, when it will enter that arrives on the screen loading the game was closed.
I have not tried to add minifaces yet and I do not even know if this is possible!
I even know how to use DBM to edit but in the middle of complex, I do not understand most of what's there

Alright, so the issue was the CM. If you want to make some edits, just don't use the CM, use the import/export function of the CGFE and DB Master for database.
I don't know, technically it's possible to play FIFA 18 with FIP with Origin online, but it's not recommended since you may get banned for using a modified database.

Por el momento no, vamos a esperar a que empiece la nueva temporada. O sea, hay equipos que tienen en su plantilla 12/13 jugadores porque el mercado de pases recién abrió. Y no me gusta actualizar solamente los equipos más importantes, si actualizo, actualizo todo.

Not at this moment, we will wait until the new season arrives. I mean, there are teams with just 12/13 players in their squad because the transfer market has just opened. And I don't like to update only the most important teams, I want to update every team and league.

Can you be more specific about this issue? I assume that you are using the Brazilian version, since in the other versions, career mode starts in 2017.

Yeah, I don't know either, it's a shame EA neglects GK kits so badly... oh and I think some GK kits (the ones for the unlicensed teams at least) need the team logo/numbers/names in their shirts, I think it's missing (but like I said, for some teams only)! Apart from that everything is great in the Portuguese league!
Yes I am using the Brazilian version, I didn't realize that made the career mode start in 2018, thanks. Still, I've always had the issue where if I change the start year in career mode I won't be able to play the World Cup anymore, it simply doesn't show up in 2022 and on. I remember Ariel of moddingway saying something about the tournaments having to be adjusted or something like that but I never knew what exactly to change. Do you have any idea?

I don't play online so why people or EA should bother if I use a modified DB?

sure, the staff have to learn to stop rushing, everything has its time, Naffer already does a great job and still makes available to us at no cost.
I'm guessing people want updated rosters when they ask like this. And those same people can easily do that themselves. Grab the editing tools and learn how. A person can learn in two hours how to edit the db and transfer players.

Got the patch working! Did a clean reinstall of Windows (i needed one for a long time anyway) and now everything works as intended. I wanted to touch on that "updated rosters" debate. Can't you just do it in-game from Edit Teams menu? You don't HAVE to use editor do you?
Yes, that's usually my first suggestion, very simple. But someone said they wanted all the loans as well, which requires db editing. And to that I say beggars can't be choosers.

As I have read, a new update will be released later, and if it helps, I have detected that some players are missing icons / legends that I think have not been commented:
- Inside the file of FUT icons missing to include Henrik Larsson (ID: 52241), appears in the game.
- Inside the file other legends, there are some classics that do appear in other patches and I understand that they could also include: Donovan, Lalas, Anelka, Robbie Keane, Duff, Given, Best, Gudjhonsen, Futre, Pauleta, Forlan, Cisse, Robinho . I do not know if there will be any more.
These players are in the database and I have tried to extract them, but it does not let me include them because you can not make modifications in the patch. It would also be nice to include players, with a similar generic face, like Batistuta, Zidane, Romario, Raúl Gonzalez ...
