I think adding these strings reduce magnetic tackling.

LocoWarp_Avoid_IsBeingDispossessed=0
LocoWarp_Avoid_IsBeingTackled=0
LocoWarp_Avoid_IsTackleContested=0

I'm not sure about the quicksand one.

Hey @paulv2k4 can you make the AI more difficult? Every match I always score more than 5. And of course more foul, no more than 3 fouls every game.

Note : Play with Legendary Difficulty.

I used the latest OS Slider.

One question (i'm a newbie on fifa modding)
On onedrive there are some folder in gameplay.in with some version of the file; what is the best version to download?
I tryed the last nightly but i don't see the gameplay changes.

What level are you playing on? I use this ini plus three mods via frosty The game can be very hard Then again it goes from very hard to very easy without reason apart from the Ea scripting

Legendary mate. It is so easy I dont know. Even with Big Clubs in their stadium.

go down to world class. The os sliders arent good enough you need to try and work them out and modify them. Its not easy. ALso install other mods from this site, esp the scripting mods.
Try playing as smaller clubs in career mode. Playing as the best teams will, by proxy, be easier.

What is another mods u used, can you tell me? Except Paul's ini files, and OS Sliders.

I use career mode patch, FA mod and mode patch=match sim.
I agree with you, fifa 18 is too easy this year. Its been a nightmare for me to get right
Even with the mods it seems to reset itself and for no reason other than scripting the game becomes too easy. I use the locale.ini number 1. this makes the game much more agressive.
At present im in career mode and the game is very hard. It will reset itself. Then i re-install all mods. always check your ini before playing to make sure its still the edited one. It can change and will revert back on every update

i have the same problem, i was using ridiculous sliders to get some challenge (10 cpu pass error, 30 cpu shot error, etc), and i still winning with or without mod, legendary or world class, game speed slow, normal, fast , nothing made the game really challenging i don't know, i stopped playing for now because i was very bored of winning everything in all carrer modes even with very weak teams

i use v2k4 Gameplay Mod - Version 1. This makes the game more direct and aggressive. The cpu plays a lot harder with this ini. Theres more fouls.
Good luck. It seems to be a constant battle with fifa 18 to make to competitive.

i use Paul's latest nightly, it doesnt make the cpu aggressive and no more fouls. Maybe i'll try the version 1.

Are there any strings in the locale.ini that make the CPU build up more slowly and patiently? The CPU is always attacking and it leads to like 15 shots at the half.

Which one you're using? No way i can get the cpu to shot more then 5 times in a match, i want the opposite
