I'm a little confused (there are a lot of pages in here)... is this women's patch something that DOES exist or that is being worked on? And if it does exist, when is it current as of?

Also, is it ok to just run this in a separate install of FIFA16? How does that work with the documents folder?

Last version was released in July 2017, download link is in second post. A new version is in progress.

Each installation shares the documents folder. Since only one installation is active at a time, there is not problem.

This isn't really related to the mod but does anyone have any tricks to get Origin to allow me to install a second copy of FIFA16 so I can try this mod?
I can't copy over the other one because it has another patch on it. Thanks for any help!

copy your fifa16 folder and rename it like in fifa 16 women , copy the files of the patch into this new folder , and when you want to play switch the 2 folder with the rename , like when you play women patch rename fifa 16 the folder and fifa 16 1 the other folder

Yeah, there's a problem with that. Like I said, my install of FIFA16 that I have right now has a patch installed. So I can't just copy it to another folder because it's not a completely stock, fresh install to install this one to.

Ok, I tried that but I still have all the moddingway menus and artwork. And none of the teams show up. I obviously did something wrong.
UPDATE: Just tried again, definitely doesn't accept the patch at all. Stays as moddingway no matter what I do. Regenerated with File Explorer and i68

It sounds as if you have not regenerated correctly. You will still see the moddingway menus and other things as this patch does not overwrite them. While you could start with a customized build and remove modded files before installing, a clean install is easier.

For a clean install:
-Exit Origin if open.
-Rename FIFA 16 folder.
-Open Origin.
-You should now be able to download a clean version.
-Just rename folders to switch between versions, Origin must be closed.

Scouser, you're a freakin genius. Of course that should work! I tried that but I had Origin open when I tried it.... cause I'm an idiot. :-D Thanks, man.

The language databases need to be deleted from locale.big for the game to read the modded ones, I often forget about this.
Ohhh, ok. That makes sense. I was going mental trying to figure out what was wrong. But, does this need to be done BEFORE regenerating or does it not matter? Because I just placed in that folder, and the game doesn't change. Unless, of course, the only teams with names are supposed to be the National Teams?
