I use Windows 10 and haven't had any problems, it's a great OS IMO, but that's not helpful here!

Where did you install Origin? Is your Windows account one with admin privileges? What is reported in Event viewer when you try to launch Origin? Where are you trying to install Fifa? Best is to do it to a safe location ie not in Program Files.

I called for a specialist in IT and all day today he tried absolutely everything possible, but with no luck. That is unbelievable, he logged on to his cpu from mine and could download fifa, but not in my pc.
Only soultion left, change my OS drive to a SSD and hoping it will work, if not...well, cracked game although I bought it.

Anyway, I don't have skype, is there any other method we can comunicate, Facebook maybe? If not, I'll create a skype account.

Was able to find players in Seasons for the first day.

And now I can't find any players in Season :/ Just like every fukin time. What the hell.

So can you tell me if the PC version has the vapor boots? I mean you cannot choose them in the editor, but is there anyone who wears them?

I am so pissed with EA for no catalogue boots for PC -.-

Edit: I just found out they are in the game. I searched for a player wearing them in the menu editor and found plenty. Wondered why I didn't see them in career mode.

Guess what, when you download the updated squads for your career, it seems like no player wears the vapors anymore. GG EA, fuck you.

Use Chaet Engine - Easy Player Edit - Accessories - BootsID - paste 80 and then you be able to see Nike Mercurial Vapor :) in any player in game

Yep that's me, AMD RX480 8gb, and nope I haven't fond a solution for 60fps cutscenes :(

We have located the files that are used to store the LOD arrangements and are capable of editing the LODs without the use of Cheat Engine.

I am currently testing the files and the ranges to get the most of the LOD in the Frostbite engine.

Will keep those interested updated.

There is something else I've found. The Xbox One X version has better 3D grass draw distance as shown in Digital Foundry's comparison.

For fixing the LODs. Also, I haven't noticed much performance drop this time unlike his old LOD mod which drpped my cutscenes to 40 FPS.

Cutscenes and Gameplay were locked to 60 FPS and rarely dropped below 60. It dropped to 58 FPS only during snow weather in Santiago Bernabue while camera panned to view the whole field.

FPS also dropped to 54 in instant replay if the Ball was near the goal post and rotating the camera behind the goal post [Which is not possible due to invisible barier]. But that happened even with FiFA 16.

And last of all, all those FPS drops happened even with vanilla game, so its not even related to max LOD.

^ Second screenshot had 58 FPS cause FPS drops a bit when I take screenshots and I took this screenshot right after I took the first screenshot. So there's no need to worry.

Also, for your information, these are my FiFA 18 settings:

Resolution: 2880x1800
Detail Level: Ultra
Anti Aliasing: 4x MSAA
FPS lock: Unlimited

Locked FPS to 60 using RTSS instead.

Nvidia Control Panel settings:

Anisotropic filtering: 16x
MFAA: On
Pre Rendered Frames: 1
Prefer Max Performance

Vsync: Force On
Tripple Buffer: On


And these are my Specs:


Windows 10 is updated to Fall Creators Update [Aka latest one available].

*Keep in mind performance may vary in other GPUs and CPUs.
*Low Spec PC users might suffer from LOD mod. most probably you will be fine with mid range PCs.
