Remove 2 useless referees behind the nets (who earn the easiest paycheck ever) and place them in a special booth with a live broadcast of the game. Arguable decision = Main ref speaks on microphone to the guys in booth, and volla in 10-15 seconds the right decision is made. But no, Platini thinks it ruins the quick flow of the game... He rather watch the players argue with the ref for 5 minutes, get yellow carded, instead of having all the problems solved in 15 seconds...
Greece got cheated in all (!!!) 3 group games:
vs. Poland: Rubbish red card + unawarded penalty.
vs. Czech: Disallowed "offside" goal which should've counted.
vs. Russia: Unawarded penalty + rubbish yellow.
Ukraine got cheated today with uncounted goal against England, which has crossed the *beep* line. England-Germany 2010 much? Fairplay much? When will this *beep* BS end???!!!! ARE THEY OUT OF THEIR MINDS?! Chelsea-Barcelona? France-Ireland? And those are just a tip of the iceberg!!!
Blatter has now said on his official Twitter account: "After last night's match #GLT (goalline technology) is no longer an alternative but a necessity."
Funny thing is that those referees behind the net earns €4.000 per match for do absolutely nothing.
Even funnier is that they are pretty bad at doing absolutely nothing. €4000? Where do I apply for the job?

Hallelujah. The light in the end of the tunnel. But that does not lower the importance of simply do what I said above and place the refs in a booth to watch the video replays! Seriously, I feel like we live in a caveman era and you have to get through those official's heads that you cannot cook the brick on the stove for dinner. I'm yet to hear 1 good reason of why they don't allow the video replays, other than some nonsense crap that makes you wonder how much Platini spends on betting websites each year.
It's about time they moved forward with this. But you know they're going to take a couple of years to implement.
It was about time to move forward with it two years ago when England were cheated out of an equalizer against Germany, but then England were the side that lost out so FIFA didnt care.
I was beaten by Azrael in the Draft and so it logically follows that he knows more about football than I do, especially since he did not resort to cheating (of which I am guilty, as has been demonstrated)

what's more disconcerting is that Sepp Blatter clearly has access to a time machine ... and the bastard has made use of it to go back to March 2nd of this year, and get himself quoted in the ESPN article below, so he could make you look a right ignorant fool ...
Gary Lineker @GaryLineker
Get the sense even my old friend Michel Platini might start favouring goal line technology, now the lack of it, has helped England
Love the sarcasm.
