That's right, some old players has been removed from the database.

Yeah, I was wondering that myself. There's a lot of players who don't have commentary names, but there are other players with the same name who do. I was wondering whether you could just add it.
But a question please, how do I link the player database to the ones in the commentary database. Is this also the one found in big0 file? It's shown as commentarynames in DBM12.
I've experienced that when playing the Greek Superleague, some the commentator is not calling names like Karagounis and some more, while playing for the Greek Cup, those names are sounded normally... kinda weird

I have a database made by me, with players who act after the year 7 of the IFPI, players since 2003. And that is the best database in truth, is a long, hard work, but ultimately regeniales will be seen the results. greetings!

What matters are the original ID's. Whether compiled into a single list or on the original DB's.

poor database. Fifa recommend working after the year 2003 as well as I do. On the other hand it is incredible that in fifa2004, EA Sports has not added nationality, to each player.
The goal behind the databases on this case is acquiring the original ID's, dude. For what I was looking for those DB's do the trick just fine. Even tough I've played pretty much every FIFA game (except 2002) but I only went after those databases, for personal use. I wasn't compiling stuff to make patches or anything, just experimenting
