We need to forget about Hulk and start bidding for Moutinho, even if it takes us all 38m.

Exactly, you need a player in the base to link with Mata and Hazard. Moutinho or Modric would be great.

Javi Martinez or Sahin would be great too. For the reported prices I'd much rather Moses. Bring in at leasy a top RB prospect and someone in midfield.

Is Martinez that kind of midfielder or is he more of a shield for the back line? FM has confused me a bit about him I think...

If Yaya wasn't built like a tank, maybe.

I mean, box to box midfielder, DMF, CB... both tall and strong but technically gifted players.

Lampard went to see LA Galaxy yesterday, who have made no secret of the fact they would like to sign him.

With one year left on his contract, will he be tempted to bow out now after a glorious CL win and let the next generation take over from here?

I think one of Keane, Becks, or Donovan would have to leave for him to be able to sign for them. I still think Lamps has a role at the club, especially since his contract isn't affected by the FFP yet, but if we had improvements in the pivot I wouldn't be too objected to cashing in. Although I personally feel he, Drogs, Terry and maybe Cech have earned the right to leave on their own terms.

Yes playing deep I still think he can make a contribution for another season IF he doesnt stand in the way of players coming through...... Romeu needs to get more games, other young players need to be rotated in, we cant afford to have Lampard moaning and complaining every time he is asked to sit on the bench for a game. No-one loves him and respects his contribution more than me but sometimes it is best to go out on a high.

Moses for 9m plus McEacrhan on loan and Maicon for less than 8m, maybe 4-6m are being reported and I'd be pretty happy with those moves. Maicon as an attacking backup to Ivanovic, and like Cole, I think we could get some good performances out of him by keeping him well-rested, which shouldn't be a problem since he wouldn't be the starter. And Moses in plus getting McEachran to a Prem club where he fits would be fantastic.

Those moves should pave the way for a mega-deal at central midfield, and should that materialise, I think we'd have a very good shot at winning the Prem.

Maicon , Moses (9), Modric (40) and van Persie (under 20, not above) would be a dream for me. Kinda hoping Arsenal don't sell this window so we can try and get him for cheap later. Or at least don't let him to go to City.

EDIT: Okay, dream is pushing it. But I'd be happy.
