Must be something else. Maybe a firewall issue? If you are using a router with a firewall, try disabling the firewall. I've seen this cause problems.

Dude are you listening to what I am saying? IT IS NOT A SERVER ISSUE! The problem is ON YOUR END! Take a look at your firewall settings, something is blocking it! Tested it from different locations (two different continents!) and its working just fine!

Oh dear...I just nearly clear it out from my recycle bin.Btw,without this file I can run the game as normal too.Any idea what's this db folder about?

Yea,deleted it yesterday.As I downloaded the LAVEZZI's updates and installed it but found that nothing much change so decided to switch it back to the ori EA's.

I did some backup on the data and the data0.bh and big file.But,when I open my backup "data" folder I dont see any db folder inside my "data' folder.So I thought it's LAVEZZI's patch files.So I deleted it yesterday and continue my game.

But,nothing changes really.What that db folder for actually?

you need to extract them w/ dbm11, then you will have db & loc folders in the data folder.

its where the database files reside (aka the FIX). my two cents? re-install the patch and stop deleting stuff especially if you have no idea what they are for
