I really try to spend my time worrying about differences in ability and the individual players' ability levels. To that end, I want to ask some questions of your perceptions of a few different aspects of player abilities and team strengths, etc. I'm hoping this will help me to make better, more historically accurate teams.
There are certain players in history that are just simply some of the best this game has ever seen. Platini, Pele, Maradona, Beckenbauer, etc. I put these players in the "Elite" category. What would you say the minimum overall value for an Elite player should be? I know this differs a bit depending on who you or I would include, but if you had to put a number on it, what would you pick?
I'm trying to find a value as a cutoff point for run of the mill players. These are players who may have been pretty good in their day, but aren't Elite and probably aren't real stars. What value starts to feel a little too high for players like this? This issue comes up when I have a very good team but certain starters on the team probably weren't phenoms.
In your experience, how much of a difference has the "team chemistry" value actually effected the ability of the team in the game?
Anyway, if you have any thoughts, please share. I'm just trying to do better.

I think 89 is the minimum.
