Edit: Some of those patches, for example the net one, link to a site where there's a popup that's extremely unsuitable for kids; my nephew nearly saw it just now. Do you know of any other sites where those patches can be found? And do you know what the difference between MD's cinematic patch and the one that's still to be released?

Regarding the cinematics patch, MD's patch has new cinematics whereas FIFAMania's patch promises new cinematics & more popups in game. For eg: Stadium & Match Info popups, referee popups etc... Check out the thread for a video preview.

Hey, I don't blame you mate, just the retards who insist on shoving this sort of thing down our throats. I'm hoping that FIFAManias' patch has some better injury and victory celebration cine's, off to check it out now.
Edit: About that site we're talking about, it's very confusing. You click on the name of the patch and nothing happens. It's only until you scroll down the bottom and you see the tiny word 'download' in the corner that you actually get to the file. So, you could just link straight to the file instead, that way people won't get confused.

Edit: About the net patch, my net has a transparent roof. I've tried changing DoF, AA, AF, vsync and things like that, but it doesn't help. Any idea why this is happening; it spoils the whole look of the net (which looks great otherwise)?

Ok manchild. Figured out that you might have the FIFA 09 Patch #1 or FIFA 09 Patch #2 installed. The FIFA 09 Ticket Patch might not work with the FIFA 09 Patch #1 and FIFA 09 Patch #2. So I have added the link for the FIFA 09 Ticket Patch For Nordic #1 which should work in all versions of FIFA 09 Patch #1. I will try to put up the FIFA 09 Ticket Patch For Nordic #2 as soon as possible.
If you're FIFA 09 is refusing to start and you have FIFA 09 Patch #1 installed, download the new FIFA 09 Ticket Patch For Nordic #1 and first copy the original config file included in this patch, and see if FIFA 09 starts up. If yes, then backup the config file and then install this patch.
If you have FIFA 09 Patch #2 installed, then I will upload my FIFA 09 Patch #2 original config file here when I reach back home.
Note: Please do not install FIFA 09 Ticket Patch or FIFA 09 Ticket Patch For Nordic #1 if you have installed FIFA 09 Patch #2.

I have also looked at Jujoong's net patch and I agree it looks a bit odd, though its taken from PES. Not sure what we can do right now, but since CM09 is out in beta and Rinaldo says the official release is going to be out in about 1 - 2 weeks, we can expect better net patches coming up in the days to come.
