That's not an error. Once the patch is completely installed you'll have that black dialogue screen for the credits and guide. I didn't think people would want to do an install loop... xD

To avoid the crash, reinstall the game but do not install that second update again (a file of 2.93 Mb) install the game, then the patch and after that regenerate fat/bh with any fat rebuilder as Robbie recommended the one from File Master.
You can use any fat/bh rebuilder, anyway

Please release the patch as CMP as well. If you have to create multiple CMP that would be okay. Maybe you can simply decide the sequence for installation by putting number to the filename.
Just what I Pm'd you, they were great and there was nothing better than watching them beat that over rated Italian team. Lets just hope the U.S. doesn't screw up their chances, I don't see it happening being that we are playing like ****e, good luck.

Dont ge me wrong, I am a USA fan that lives in Tampa, FL, I was just so pissed off about the red card to Italy that I did not want to see them go thru, what happened yesterday is one of the greatest comebacks in USA sports history but most Americans will never know, such a shame.

I don't know what you are talking about... All i see is one download and its the big 963MB patch and whenever I have a fresh install and put the RTWC patch after editing the 10th team or so to only have 25 men on teh roster everything crashes, not to mention I see all new stadiums with nothing but the pitch...........
Better to use Creation Master to regenerate but none of that is required, the next update of the game will make sure that it's all regenerated automatically after the install
well, we have to wait a bit...
anyway I have made an add on for this patch in exe version which adds all(!) missing goalkeepers kits of this patch, replaces a lot of wrong, old, badly made or undetailed kits, offers a referee kit plurality and generally brings u back a lot of enthusiasm to play!!!!
