I'm using Photoshop 7.0. Like you, I try to find the largest logos online and I got some from "brandsoftheworld" (I think they're in eps format); they were definitely the best. My problem is reducing a logo to a very small size and keeping it crisp and readable. It seems like it blurs a good bit. So, I've been actually editing the pixels in the logo to clean it up and make it more readable.

Also, do you use fonts for certain logos or for writing on a kit like on the Lecce kits you just released? I'm talking about the writing, "lachifarma" on the front of the shirt.

Another problem I had on Grenoble was that the 3d model distorts some logos badly. I couldn't find a blank kit template here that doesn't distort just below the collar on the front of the shirt. Grenoble has "hummel" there. I guess you'd have to edit the 3d model to get rid of that. Thanks.

Hmmm, no mate, to my knowledge there isn't really anything you can do to sharpen a really small logo...just look at the Serie B badge of the long sleeve of my kits...very blurry...

Well, when I can't find a certain writing, I usually write it myself, in the font that looks closest to the actual one. The "lachifarma" logo on my Lecce I found on Google Images...so I didn't write it...

However on my Grosseto...on the front it says "SPONSOR UFFICIALE" in an arch. That I had to create since no logo had that...lucky for me it came out very nicely to the real thing.

And lastly, just so you know, the FIFA 08 kit mapping is HORRIBLE...very many distortions...especially around the collar and shorts (OMG, the shorts!)...but there's noting you can do about that...it's all the fault of the lazy EA kitmakers who were to lazy to map the model properly...(look at the PES model...PERFECT...every kit is PERFECT)

Thanks. That helps alot. It's good to know that others have the same problems because of the 3d model.

I've never played PES, but I'll get Winning Eleven when it's released here and give it a go. I hear it's very good.

Meh, depends on who you are. I don't want to get off-topic but IMO it's not so fantastic as people wanted it. But it still is awesome!

It forgives to ask for helps the yours, but it is that I did not obtain to understand the tutorial one. he is that in the hour and to make kits, the images as they soon team and soon of the sponsor are over template being without details, but, if together I eat template pra to be detailed as the kit is thus, tries to understand:

Copy the layer of the template in a brand new 768*768 photoshop document
Then, THAT layer, set it to "Linear Burn" then, set it ALWAYS on top of the other layers, you dont have to move it from there anymore. Then add whatever logos and things to your kit. Maybe, to make easier your first time, try to copy a simple kit -BTW don't release it

- to realize what patterns you should take care of when you make a kit

if you are trying to make the kit a different color make a new layer use paint bucket put with the color you want and fill that area (make sure you select the area you want to color with polygonal lasso tool). then change setting from "normal" to "linear burn" and you should get the color you want.

than right click the template layer and click "merge visible"

than add your emblem(s).

Hi everybody!!!! don't know if I'm in the right place, but I didn't want to start a new thread for that....

I have a small problems with AC Milan Kits :
1_ I downloaded AC Milan Kits
2_ They appear in CM08
3_ In fifa 08 the default Fifa kits didn't change
4_ I have only this problem with AC Milan

Could someone explain me what is the problem....

Hi guys. I am trying to make some simple kits but i have some problems with logos. In the oedit preview they look very disorted.
What should be the size of the logos so they look more clean?

that depends on what part the logo is placed.

front and back - 50% of the height
socks - normal size
shorts - not sure, kind of normal size, maybe a lil bit taller

I've never done kit making or anything of the sort

I dont even know where to begin: I wanna make a kit with vertical stripes ( like Juventus ). how do I keep the wrinkles and stuff? I really dont know what to do at all, kind of new in using photoshop.
