Tip; If you find yourself outside the 6-yard box and want a little more time to create a shot attempt, or get 1v1 with the goalkeeper (if you're really good), then use the pace-control button to slow down the CPU pressing and give yourself that extra tactical advantage to have a bit more possession and thought over your build-up and strategy.
I'm fixing my FIFA just so I can play this thing. I like the idea of the strict referee's patch and interested to see how it works. I'll give you an idea on what I think in a few hours, if all goes well.
I haven't played it yet.... My FIFA broke... I can't get manager mode to move past the opening week of the Premier League. No clue why. I hope to fix this tonight... it's bugging me to death. I have to figure out which add-ons are causing it.

Yeah, sounds like something is causing a conflict. That ain't cool. too many add-ons are eventually going to run into one another.
wow, what can I say, plays awesome!! very fun. I lost 1-0 to aston villa as arsenal but blew a few chances, hit the post twice! thanks NK, this patch is really amazing. I still think the goalie kicks could be out farther and the AI defense would tone down the rushing at me constantly, its like they have unlimited stamina when in real life that never happens. Also, my AI needs to learn how to clear the ball and to get in front of crosses and passes in my box, they just stand there unless I'm able to take control of one. (worst player switching system ever by EA!)
is this update also tested with keyboard user? because i found that if the player is in some degree the shot is really as what as the buttons on keyboard are pressed. i try this over and over in training mode. the striker is in some degree to the goal and he really shot as what the button pressed. in some degree the shot is wow! powerful and really hit the target.

this is my first feeback, although i've played all your beta's.
This patch plays very nice, but somehow it looks like the grass on the pitch is too long, what i really mean is that the ball slows down too fast when someone is running with it. For the rest: a job welldone!
Nk, i just played it and i agree with everyone. It's awesome BUT at first when I played it on Pro, but after i changed to WC I was disappointed. Very. And I'll tell ya why. On Pro at half time (18 min match) I was 2-0 up and the overall game was awesome, extremely enjoyable. And then at WC at half time I was 1-0 down because a bit of bully syndrome is back. First of all the three player-sandwich marking is back (but not every time), and the CPU players almost always get the ball in 50/50 chances but in Pro it is PERFECT. Also the CPU players are a bit too aggressive. Ok...I know what you're thinking... that i'm complaining about the fact that It is too hard for me.... I mean yes, I do mean to say this but most of all I want to tell you that the difficulty gap between Pro and WC is way too big. Or maybe on WC you modified some variables that make the game play harder (which i give you credit for that) but at the same time you made a bit unfair. If you make the WC difficulty like Pro but with a smarter CPU(in WC the goal i received was from an incredible play thought by the CPU, I was blown away. Good Job !) and with a bit more pressing that would be my final. I'll just play FIFa 07 for two more years and leave you alone. Seriously! Again, Great Job mate !

but the cpu has broke my defence a number of times. Doesn't mean I lose the match though.
the ball is not that magnetic-to-the-player-like anymore now. and not that as fast as in previous update that cause the players just can't get it. i like the strict referee that make the game better in realism.
