No idea. It was pretty pathetic. It's even more so, because he's generally a pretty good player.

Mexico subs 1

chile subs 0

FINAL: Goal by Guardado who only played about 30 mins in 2nd half and was still one of the best of the match.

Mexico goes undefeated for a whole year, since the Chepo era started.

Can't find any kind of interest for this game and friendlies in general of late. They need to just start the qualifiers already.

London, here we come!!! Chicharito won't be alone cause let me tell you this U-23 squad is REALLY good. Now that we officially have the ticket for the olympics, it seems Javier will be one fo the 3 call-ups that the competiton allows over the age limit. Along with him will be a GK (Ochoa or Corona) and a CB, probably Hector Moreno. Giovanni, Jonathan and Carlos Vela are all under the age limit so that just kills.

Now regarding this Pre-Olympic tourney, I have to say there were some gratifying performances...one that surprised everyone was this kid Hector Herrera from Pachuca. Jorge Enriquez was a for sure starter in my books, but Herrera beat him out for the spot. Herrera has an incredible endurance, he defends and attacks at a great pace for the entire 90+ minutes.

It's a shame about David Cabrera, torn knee ligaments in the game vs. Canada, and he'll be out for 6 months so no Olympics for him. Enriquez will probably replace him today vs. Honduras.

yeah Herrera is one for the future. too bad about Cabrera, he is a Xavi in potential. Pulido another to watch out for. I could see Jimenez, Herrera, and Pulido in the 2014 World Cup Squad and ofcourse Cabrera if he fully recovers.

about time Mexico qualified with style and undefeated. plus we all know the real coach is Chepo de la Torre.

Congrats you bastard. I was weary of this game the second I found out due to the fact that it was at the Azteca.

I hope this means the whole team gets scrapped and the younger players are given their respective place.

Yeah, it certainly doesn't happen often, but Tim Howard on his best day might be better than any other keeper in the world. Did it to Spain in the Confederations Cup too.
