Saw was so "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz", why was it compared to movies like Se7en and Silence of the Lambs? Scariest movie of the year they said....right..
I also watched The Amityville Horror, the original from 1979 with James Brolin (Barbra's husband) and Margot Kidder (Lois Lane).
we're having a remake in a couple of months with Ryan Reynolds so I decided to check the original.
it was good, but mainly because the last 20 minutes were awesome with the house all bloody. nothing much happens in the first hour or so though
and its all based in actual happenings like the texas horror massacre:

The original Italian Job was much better than the new one. I didn't like the way they "hollywoodised" the new one, took all the charm away.
The ending is still something I don't understand (does anyone)? Strangest ending to a movie ever. Felt like when you're in a movie theatre and the movie stops for the break except the Italian Job never resumed. Seemed very unfinished.
Apparently the reason for the strange reason was that they had planned to make a second movie (kind of like Kill Bill 1 & 2) but it never got made.
Incidentally, there is an Italian Job 2 in the making (sequel to the hollywood remake not the original of course)
well, besides the ending, I think the original's stunts were kinda lame. specially the way the italian police couldnt do the simple jumps the other guys were doing and always ended up failing badly and crashing against walls.
I dont know, it looks too stupid.

slackers one of the many gross out movies n i thought it was really good, bout 3 mates who have may ways to get through college without doing n e work they get found out and blackmail by a nerd. Some mad jokes very funny.
Just watched the Evil Dead last night. I didn't really find it scary because it was extremely fake and hilarious, but in the cinema it would be quite jumpy. There were a lot of loud bangs and booms when zombies appeared. Anyway we all know that.

Slackers wasn't great. It had all the standard teen movie personas with nothing extra and a bit of a lame storyline. I suppose it was alright to watch but nowhere near the other better known teen movies.
sadly, I remember the Irish penis dancing and singing
but yeah, I didnt think it was great. I rewatched it a few months ago cause I knew it had Jason Schwartzman but I found his character horrible.
and no nudity from Laura Prepon. she wont have another chance to make it big in hollywood
