I just watched My Girl, with Anna Chlumsky and Macaulay Culkin. definetely a childhood classic for me and I hadnt seen it in a long time. got some teary eyes after it ended with that classic Macaulay scene
and since I was feeling like revisiting my childhood, I followed that one with Stand by Me. one of my favorites movies ever.
the tears definetely came out when I saw River Phoenix disappear at the end. just an awesome movie

Ray. Watched it on thursday (only was released a week ago, believe it or not!). What an excellent movie. If Jamie Foxx doesn't get an Oscar for this then there's something seriously wrong, everything about this movie was superb. Although I didn't like the editing, they didn't do too good a job on that I thought, in fact it was quite bad at times but still couldn't take away the overall greatness of this movie.
I've got Million Dollar Baby on my list next.
I hate that all thos Oscar movies are only being released over here now when they're practically on DVD over in the States already.
not really. only Ray has been released from the oscar nominated ones.
btw, I just watched the original The Italian Job from 1969 with Michael Caine. I thought it wasnt even close to the new one which was just excellent comparing the two. and what the hell happened at the end?

Are you serious? The new one was pathetic...I mean, pretty bad... like... not good... I thought so anyway.

I liked the new one but Im not saying that its an excellent movie. only that its excellent compared to the original.
